Superboy prime vs. Dormammu

This is not me saying that SBP wins. This is an honest question. If Dormammu's power is either all or heavily magic based and magic not from SBP universe does not affect him them how does Dormammu put him down?

His power is as much as cosmic in nature as is magical per the characters own words in Defenders Vol.3#2, just like Wiccan's also works somewhat in the same way and are not really considered magic.
@alphaelli: Thanx
Superboy Prime is immune against magic, so, I can't see Dormammu defeating Superboy Prime, but either Prime defeating Dormammu, considering that Dormammu can become ethereal.

Dormammu has already one-shotted beings with magic immunity before, which does indicate that his powers are not completely magical or even at all.

To be fair, I think Marvel just doesn't understand what the word "immune" means.

You can't generalize the whole company, though. While some writers have no clue about the practical use of certain words, others do. It was heavily alluded that said enemy was actually immune when even Strange's strongest spells were having no effect on him and the character had already created countermeasures when dealing with foes with resistance to magic by then.

I'm interested to see the scans, however, as far I know, Dormammu could have a chance when it comes to energy absorption, but Superboy Prime's Solar Armor takes all hopes.
When it comes to strength levels, Dormammu is still way inferior.

Was there any actual lore that would suggest the character was actually able to achieve complete NLF levels of immunity though?

They're in the last segment of my RT, here: https://comicvine.gamespot.com/dormammu/4005-2205/forums/respect-the-dread-dormammu-lord-of-the-dark-dimens-1976192/. Regardless, as I previously said, Dormammu's powers aren't really magical per his own words and the character has other abilities which can't be considered as so, such as telepathy.
I don't disagree with that, but doubt it will come to only brawn between the two.

Only his words/boosts about himself.
The best magic immunity Prime had was no selling Mordu from the 30th century, which while pretty good, doesn't make him able to take on Dormammu in a straight fight.
Lol dormammu stomps
This.
@alphaelli: Then Dormammu probably just overpowered his resistance, which is fine, because he'd probably do that here too.
Also, I don't think telepathy is inherently separate from mysticism. It's very tied to the astral plane, and Pixie's Soul Dagger has shown to cancel normal mutant psionic abilities before.
@alphaelli: Well, to begin with, I don't really mind, it's a very weird matchup so far, I could give Dormammu some minuscule advantage in the Dark dimensions but not outside it.
Dormammu is mainly recognized as a magical/mythical entity, I'm not really convinced that he could keep up at speeds beyond the speed of light, his physical reactions could keep with at least supersonic speeds but not above that.

Oh dear, now ya done it!

And I still don't see why Prime doesn't get stomped, really. Not only Prime lacks the damage output to do anything significant against Dormammu until the end of times, but the latter is also apparently immune to physical attacks as said in Amazing Spider-Man Vol.2#57 given his nature just as SB is apparently immune to magic. Besides, Dormammu has thousands of ways to win this since has a myriad type of abilities, while the same can't be said for his opponent.
Dormammu is mainly recognized as a magical/mythical entity
A label means nothing and neither is any sort of solid proof, especially because in Marvel some magical entities are considered as much as cosmic like Shuma-Gorath anyway, Strange himself is a character whose job is to deal with mystical threats, but even his main villain gallery is filled with cosmic beings like Death and In-Betweener...Heck, even major cosmic entities like the Living Tribunal were first introduced in his comics back in the day. Unlike what seems to be the case in DC, magic and cosmic are not mutually exclusive in the Marvel-verse.
I'm not really convinced that he could keep up at speeds beyond the speed of light, his physical reactions could keep with at least supersonic speeds but not above that.
Not only Dormammu is a higher dimensional entity and this means space-time is nothing to him in theory, but the character has the feats regardless. He has reacted to a psych message traveling far faster than the speed of light while in an inferior body back in Defenders Vol.1#8...Not that Dormammu needs speed though, Prime can't do anything to him and a big AOE attack will resolve any problems.
@alphaelli: Aww, no scanbomb over the "more powerful in Dark Dimension" comment? I'm disappointed. kek

Well, I did something fair I think, considering that Superboy-Prime originally comes from the Pre-crisis those weakening him in the Post-crisis but the thing is that he was still way too strong in the Post-crisis, so, again, I think I did something fair, otherwise, it would be a mismatch.
@abstractraze: Not exactly what I meant...

I already got sick tired of correcting users over this, so I'll only address it when is relevant to the discussion.

Comicvine beat ya down that bad, eh?
@mylittlefascist:Comicvine beat ya down that bad, eh?
You would think the RT would somehow help me, but nooooooo......
I swear, if one day I find who was responsible for spreading so much misinformation, I'll beat him/her to a pulp.

@mylittlefascist: Stop derailing this thread.
Not only makes me look bad, but is also cringe as hell. -_-
And yes, before calling me a hypocrite, I know I had a part in this. You started, though.

that
Prime's 'magic immunity' is a NLF. Resisting 31st Century Mordru, who isn't even the strongest version to my knowledge, doesn't mean Prime doesn't get stomped by Dormammu.
31st Century Mordru is indeed the strongest version.
That feat makes me think SBP can win against Dormammu in neutral ground.
This had no need to be bumped. Dormammu farts and kills the man child.
Dormammu one shots with like 1/100th of his powers.
No, he doesn't.
@ouroborik: Dormammu>>>>>>>>>Mordru.
@ouroborik: Dormammu>>>>>>>>>Mordru.
On a neutral setting, are you sure?
What are Dormammu's best feats?
