The Potara fusion is a multiplier and I don't think GT SSJ and SSJ2 Goku would be above a fusion of Buu saga SSJ Goku and Vegeta. Plus there's that statement of Vegito potentially being above SSJ4 Goku, although its in Japanese and is most likely an unreliable source. Vegito stomps both rounds.

People on this website literally don’t know anything about GT. In fact I bet every commenter so far has not even watched GT.

GT Goku completely stomps like he stomped almost everyone in that show.

That infamous Vegetto scan comes from the animanga adaptation which is just promotional material and not a Daizenshuu official guidebook.

Also the feats of GT are much better than Vegetto.

Stats Equal: Vegito Wins, he knows all of Goku’s moves (minus dragon fist), whereas Goku doesnt know all of his.

Stats Unequal: Vegito also wins, even moreso. He rivals SSJ4 Goku from the Baby Arc, theres no way Goku grew 40x between the two arcs.

@pepsichipbag: GT Goku is the most skilled and competent version of Goku and his SSJ4 comes with many unique powers like immunity to certain techniques after feeling them once. GT Goku should win even with equal stats. Vegetto is just the merger of Goku and Vegeta from a prehistoric era. They both went on to achieve new levels of training and skill by the time GT ends.

I see no reason to dismiss it though. Daizenshuu has been unreliable at times as well. I am not sayin' Vegitto>>SS4 Goku btw. I think that Super Full Power Saiyan 4 Goku is stronger. But at worst, SS4 Goku and Vegitto are comparable.

GT Goku wins stats equalized or not. Goku after the timeskip has more experience but power as well.

Round 2: vegito high dif. No way is DBZ vegito anywhere near SSJ4 like a lot of people on this site like to say but he definitely should be above regular SSJ GT goku but only slighly.

SS4 Foddergeta is only like a dozen or few dozen times stronger than SS4 Goku/Vegeta individually Buu Saga SS3 Vegetto would easily reach that by SS3 considering how he's already>SS4 Goku/Vegeta in Base/SS1.

R1: While Goku has more knowledge on fighting after a few years passed since Z, Vegito has all of Z Goku and Z Vegeta's moveset in one with some additional moves so I think he edges out in equal stats comfortably.

R2: Super Saiyan 1 Vegito is around or above SSJ4 Goku level so he stomps SSJ1 GT Goku.

And? None of that contradicts SS1 Vegetto>SS4 since there's no set multiplier for Potara it's just a feat for the Potara multiplier

Are there seriously still people arguing Z Vegetto crushes all of GT in 2021? Because of a single page from a guidebook that people keep taking out of context? All it says is that Potara provides a larger boost than Super Saiyan 4. Vegetto being vastly above all of GT is ludicrous considering Super Baby 1 was stated twice to be the strongest Saiyan in history up until that point: by himself and then Goku agreeing with him. Both would know Vegetto's power since Baby had Vegeta's brain and both were part of the fusion. That's how Super Goku knew Vegetto wouldnt be able to beat Beerus without trying.

Anyways Vegetto wins round one due to more techniques. Assuming this is GT Goku at his strongest during the Shadow Dragon arc he stomps Vegetto round 2.

That's false Herms' translation made it clear it was outright saying that Vegetto in general is stronger than SS4 not some sort of Potara multiplier which never stated nor implied

Goku and Baby even knowing Vegetto's strength is a pretty pretentious and unfounded claim Super logic doesn't apply to GT, and even if they did it's simply contradicted and an unbiased voice like the Perfect Files takes precedence
