I know the show just came out, but I can tell Sunny will have more insane feats as the show goes on.

hmmm. sunny will have a problem with cap's physicals. but skill wise sunny will stomp him. all depends on sunny's durability.

How many episodes does this show have?

Cap for now. After only one episode Sunny appears to be a very highly skilled peak human fighter. IMO he'll have to show some superhuman physical stats or other powers to be able to defeat Cap.

@xtreme1: I thought he was superhuman. Some of his punches sent the men in the forest flying.

You know, like can dodge mach __ or can lift __ tons or has IQ of __.

He seems to have ok reaction time, but can he dodge ricocheting and fast moving objects? Cap can.

If that's all he can do, Cap wins. Sorry man.

@gamejutsu: I don't know if you've seen, but I have mentioned that there is only one episode so far. I'm sure he will have more feats in this series as it progresses.

That's too bad. Hopefully he'll get some boosts or use his special then.

Looking at those clips not sure if this is a stomp. Sunny seems pretty strong for a human, seems very agile, and very skilled. Cap is obviously stronger but in character I do believe Steve holds back. Sunny seems to use swords too so its not like he doesn't have the damage output to hurt Steve. Steve might win due to his shield giving him range and the fact Steve could disarm sunny by breaking his swords. Plus unless those guys he was fighting have feats I guess Steve has more going for him considering his showing against Bucky and stuff.

It's most definitely not a stomp. Cap has the advantage in raw power, but I'd say Sonny already shows he's a better h2h fighter and potentially more agile.

For now, I'm backing Cap, but if Sonny keeps on this road, that may change.

I just re-watched the clips and you're right, he did send some guys flying. But I still don't see Sunny as anywhere near Cap's physical level.

On a side note I liked Sunny's character and I thought the fight scenes were very well done. Hopefully they'll keep it up and we'll have a good new series to discuss on the Vine!!

Captain America with both H2H, and Shield and Swords. Until we see MUCH better from Sonny down the road. Still, cool plot and fight scenes.

Cap, but give ITTBL at least 3 more episodes and I'll give final answer.

Still Cap. Civil War should amp him as well, though Sunny will hopefully get more feats.

Steve handily.The only thing that makes Sunny last a little longer is the fact that Sunny is fighting with a sword, which Steve isn't used to at all.But in the end, Sunny can't take serious hits from Steve.It'll be Steve vs Batroc but a little longer

Bump since Sunny has had more feats. I'm curious if things have changed. From clips I've seen Sunny seems pretty durable.

From what @rolandalderas has presented in our CaV I'd give it to Cap rather solidly.

They've both improved since this thread was made but Cap still wins due to physicals. Sunny hasn't done enough to close the gap. And I really hope they continue with Into the Badlands, it's a great show.

Sunny wins. He is pretty superhuman. Way better fighter though and swords > Caps muscles lol.

I haven't seen the show, but what feats does he have that will allow him to beat Cap?

@brucerogers: I've only seen a few eps and a couple of clips on the web, but he has damn near insane striking feats.

He kicked a pretty much equal fighter about 15ft, through a brick wall, and then she carried on another 15-20ft. That's probably the best one I've seen, but he has dozens of striking feats where he hits people back those kind of distances.
