I don't know, but I've seen Juggernaut punching him in the nose yelling "timber" and I'm pretty sure Hulk had a run in with him that wasn't too hot. If anyone else can shed light on those instances, that'd be cool.
that was one punch from Juggernaut that suprised him, and the charcters present even admitted that it would last about two second
that being said, Galactus gets similar treatments every once in a while
was never even a problem
I'm just glad Stranger doesn't look so bad now. He's Marvel's Phantom Stranger analogue, isn't he?
Stranger actually wasnt even KOed in that fight, although he struggled there with the X-men, the scan in question is from X-men Forever 6
Here are the complete list of scans.
As per topic Tyrant would win, Stranger more often than not is just a smaller less powerful version of Galactus while Tyrant is smack his equal.
The scan of Stranger vs Overmind is genuine, but thats just 1 confrontation, the second time they fought, which was in Quasar 16, Overmind was clearly winning before the Watchers showed up. Stranger only manage to beat Overmind after Watcher and Quasar showed up to help, against an Overmind who was distracted.
Stranger was also rather handily defeated by Hades although to be fair the fight took place in hell.
Silver Sufer has also perfectly held his own against Stranger while they battle for a whole issue.
Odd feat to use of Adam Warlock and Gardner, both had their infinity gems, together manage to defeat Stranger and caused him to flee when they fought.
Marvel Handbook 1985 says "Galactus, the Celestials, Watchers and certain Elder of the Universe are known to equal or exceed his (Stranger) cosmic energy manipulation", sort of leads me to believe, its not just lack of feats, Stranger was always meant to be weaker than someone like Tyrant.
Edit: Considering how powerful tyrant and galactus are depicted, i don't think it's a hyperbole.
While the words were of Thanos, he said that based on what he read/ saw on Tyrant mothership computer and it seem to be pretty much what the supercomputer concluded.Tyrant is unlikely to have false information, specially pertaining to his defeat, in an energy globe.
Totally agree with the Edit part :)
