Starlord with his celestial connection still present travels to Nidavellir with Rocket in their spacepod to get an Uru jailbroken iPod 6, which in theory would allow him to download any song in the universe 4 free and amp his celestial powers. They encounter Eitri and he agrees to forge it but the planets rings are frozen, Starlord has to get the rings moving, either by himself or with assistance from Rocket piloting the pod. After Starlord gets the rings in motion he then will have to hold open the broken gates of the forge and survive for as long as Thor did. Can he accomplish this?
Starlord must replicate Thor's Nidavellir feats

wut...

@_kingoflatveria: Um he has powers that allow him to hold his own against Ego, a full celestial and on top of that he could withstand holding the power stone and not dying immediately, then redirected it's energy into other guardians BEFORE he even unlocked his powers. Or are you saying wut to the Uru jailbroken iPod 6?
Even with his Celestial powers he dies almost immediately. Can't breathe in space, not enough strength to unfreeze rings, not enough durability to pull off what Thor did
@xzone: Dies immediately? That's bull. He held the power stone, the Collector himself said that a group of 8 individuals in the past that tried to harness it's power died immediately, he clearly didn't and that was before he even had his powers.
Ego has comparable striking feats to Thor and they should be greater
They have quite a few strength feats. Throughout their fight they were destroying stone pillars and leaving craters everywhere. We literally see Ego launch Starlord further than what Thor has ever been shown throwing someone.

Not overly impressive since he didn't actually create any major indentation on the stone. Star-Lord left a shallow craters and some cracks, and was stunned/hurt by the attacks as well. Thor took far more damage in the gladitorial arena on Sakaar and shrugged it off almost immediately. And that was BEFORE getting his power boost.
Also, this doesn't give him a strength boost. Or the ability to breathe in space. Or heat resistance. Honestly it doesn't help at all

That's false, his second throw is as large as any crater Hulk or Thor created in their battle and I only recall like 1 big one. They are shown obliterating entire structures too. Regardless with scaling from Ego who was destroying entire elite fleets like nothing, still more impressive than Thor.
Peep how his matter manipulation amped strikes destroy Ego's physical form and stagger him. Another faulty statement. Rewatch Guardians 2. Ego explicitly states that Peter has all of his powers now, which includes surviving in space without air, which he could already do temporarily without his celestial powers. Also has increased strength obviously and energy resistance that goes with his manipulation
@epicyon: Thor couldn’t even stand at the time, and again, unquantifiable, also, insults, why?
X
Doesn't even matter since he's a god that can tank the star that's >>>> the Power Stone right? He's covered in burns which have to be from the Power Stone anyway, meaning Thanos had already done it to him beforehand and he was destroyed. Meanwhile Starlord was being disintegrated by that same stone and instantly healed afterwards. Fanboy is hardly an insult.
