Mace Windu is a way better duelist than Starkiller, and is on par with him as far as the force goes. I would go with Mace considering he had a better mastery of the force than Starkiller. Mace was also able to take out armies with the force alone, and his force waves are probably more powerful than Starkiller's.

Starkiller should win with littledifficulty. Power wise he far exceeds Mace Windu, but Mace has experience over him. I don't think Mace's experience is enough though.
What is the greatest feat Mace has pulled off? Cause Starkiller from what I've seen just far outclasses him. Starkiller has picked up an At-At and crushed it into a ball using nothing but the force, and he has pulled an entire Star Destroyer down to the ground. I know that Mace Windu has more experience, but Starkiller is highly skilled, being trained in secret by Darth Vader for the only purpose of killing Jedi. Even as just and Apprentice, Starkiller has killed several Jedi including one that was on the Jedi Council(I can't think of his name right now).

I'll admit he had a hard time but when you look at it not only was Starkiller suffering from the seeds of doubt that Shaak had planted but she was also using her Force abilities to control the plant that was the battlefield it becomes understandable.

Maybe Mace is better but by what margin? it's really not that great, Starkiller has trained by dueling the past Jedi masters like Kenobi, he was trained by Darth Vader who even after Mustafar is still one of the High tier saber users in his own right he went on to beat Vader add to that Shaak ti and Kota Starkiller can hold his own
Really Mace took out armies of Droids, starkiller took out entire armies of Clones which are supeiror to droids not to mention that he even fought and beat the Empire's elite trooper trained to use the force, as for Force powers did Mace ever pull a Starship out of re-entry?
Thank G-w-D. And plus I hope everyone realizes that actaul storm troopers and clone troopers are rediculously over powered compared to droids. 1 Clone trooper is easily compareable to 15 droids.

Where does he say this? B/c he has continually stated that this was Anakin, and Luke who was his father's potential. Last i checked Anakin's potential was sposed to be 200% compared to Yoda and Palpatines 100%, an he only ever made it to 80%, if that's changed please point me at it.
Anyway, in Shatterpoint Mace states that he doesn't have the same kind of force strenght as Anakin, or Yoda, or even his main foe in the novel Kar Vastor. So on the merits of power alone yes Galen would win, but you have to factor in just how great a deulist Mace was. He's the only being other than Luke to defeat Palpatine in a deul, and despite fan speculation, Lucas has made it clear he won that fight. So i wouldn't count him out, even if Galen does win, it won't be w/o scars to remember him by.

When did Luke fight Palpatine? Also, I feel what you're saying about Mace's style (Vaapad), but since Starkiller seems to be more powerful with the Force, who's to say that he'll actually duel with Mace, or use his Force powers to end the fight quickly?

In the Mace vs Palpatine fight, all the other jedi die within the first few seconds of the fight...the whole point was to show how powerful palpatine was and to show off how strong mace was that he survived and was able to win, sort of.

Mace is far under rated here. He was on the Jedi council, which means his experience and skills far exceeds that of Starkillers. In terms of raw force, Id say StarKiller is a bit higher, but mace has much more fine tuning and greater mastery. Swordsmith wise I would have to Mace is greater in knowledge and technique , though if I had to guess, he isnt as practiced. I think this fight would be epic, but I have to say its Mace with the win.

Starkiller was personally trained from childhood to be a Jedi destroyer by one of the galaxies all time powerhouses who had imtimate knowledge of the Jedi concening their abilities, he killed Shaak Ti when she had the homefield advantage and then went on to beat Vader himself
As for Force mastery Starkiller was greatly honed in the Dark side abilites admittedly other non attack powers wheren't as impressive

During his life Palpatine searched for immortality the way he acheived this is by creating clones of himself and putting them in stasis when Vader destroyed his true body his soul in time migrated and found his clones long story

I totally agree. I will admit Starkiller is powerful with the Force. But so is Mace Windu. He has Force Crush, Shatterpoint, (which I'm sure u guys don't no this but shatterpoint isn't just shattering droids and glass but it is a way 2 find a weakness in a person) and Vaapad. Still if this was a Force only battle Starkiller would win. But when Mace has Force powers which I'll say comes at least half way, and then the lightsaber skills, I'd say Mace Windu. It's a really close fite though.

starkiller would win this, lucas has said himself that his force is above anyone (the guy took out a star destroyer with nothing else) his duel skills are lower but not by much then mace. and most of the time a jedi battle comes down to who can use the force the best.

You're Overestimating Mace and his Vaapad
Starkiller's skill in shien, Juyo, Ataru, and Djem so match andmaybe even surpass Mace's Lightsaber skills combined with his extensive mastery of Dark side Force powers he can beat Mace.
Althougth truth be told the starkiller That wins this would be End Malek who was at harmony with himself, Any of the earlier ones would be defeated by Mace because with his Shatterpoint ability he would be a bad oponent for Galen
