Probably Kori, I consider her stronger and more durable.

I might give it to Iron Man as he was probably more consistent and some of the Teen Titans had some VERY stupidly low showings.

The first round Id give to iron man for a slight edge due to being a bit smarter and having good tech.

Round two I feel like stars raw power comes in to play for a slight win.

What low showings did Starfire have? And Tony isn't exempt from that either..

I'd give Round 1 to Ironman because he can probably get off a unibeam which would take down Kori.

Round 2 goes to Kori because she doesn't play around when bloodlusted.

Round 2 Starfire stomps

Round 2 Starfire, even just the animated series Starfire, would absolutely wreck Tony's world.

Round 1 Tony would most likely win because he'd be able to outwit her fairly easily. Not saying Kori is dumb, but Tony is much smarter.

Gotta say A, you make some good match ups.

Round 1 is kinda tough; Tony on EMH felt like a bit of a jobber at times. Starfire did as well, but not to the same extent. That being said, one of Tony's main flaws was he would get arrogant at times, and if he takes this seriously he can beat Kori for a majority. Starfire won't do enough to win before he beats her.

Round 2 I'd give to Kori for a solid majority. Her raw power beats Tony's (outside of Unibeam), and she's more of a physical powerhouse, albeit not by a whole lot.

In these battles we always assume the characters are fighting at their best, so Starfire wins

We assume they're fighting at their best, but in round 1 its at their best in character. Tony was very smart, but very arrogant and could get caught off guard easily by how deceptively powerful Starfire is. However if he doesn't get immediately koed and recognizes the threat Starfire is, he'd stop screwin around and come up with somethin to actually beat her.

Meanwhile in character Starfire never fought very smart. She'd bumrush, a lot, which usually worked because of the power differences between her and her opponents, however when it came to tactics she usually took her directions from Robin. She also absolutely held back because she didn't want to outright kill someone. Her raw power absolutely outclasses Tony, but I'd give him a majority of fights in round 1 for the times he'd use his brain to actually win.

Round 2 though its an absolute slaughter. Starfire wouldn't be holding back anymore and would be able to simply cave Tony's chest in, through his armor. The only chance Tony has is a full on Unibeam, but if it misses he's even more screwed than he was before because of the downtime after using it.

@arcus1: R1 I don't know enough about Tony. Star becomes a jobber however so it's hard to tell.

Her strength is closed matched to Wonder Woman (Just without the experience). Round one Iron Man would be able to put her down , but round two is an absolute stomp.

You realize we're talking about animated versions, right?

Starfire in the "television versions " doesn't exhibit enough power like in the comics , so my vote goes towards Iron Man .

Star is too fast, probably stronger. Only his chest beam can hurt her but she can avoid it while Tony can't avoid most of her attacks.

@byondeon: Fast enough to enter Space in a matter of seconds on multiple occasions, slamming her fists on the ground caused Earthquakes, easily scales above Cyborg, being able to causally lift weight that maxed out on with one arm. And He can lift entire office buildings off the ground with brute strength. Versatility in energy projection, absorption. Extremely durable, showing high resistance to blunt, piercing, energy, heat/cold, and radiated attacks. Plus a keen battle sense due to her tumultuous Warrior upbringing and further honing and training alongside Robin and the Titans. All Tony has over her is experience and intelligence, which I don’t think will be enough to pull him through here.
