Base Garou would be a threat to All Might, based on speed and skill alone.

@ancient_0f_days: The range advantage all might would have is way too much for base garou to overcome, red Garou though would be a good match.

Garou would think Stain is a threat due to reputation and ominous aura. He gets too excited and charges Stain. Stain doesn't flinch. It's as if he doesn't even see Garou. Garou throws a powerful blow, ready to put Stain's seemingly incredible durability to the test.

Next thing he knows, Garou is covered in blood. Stain had shattered like an egg dropped from a two story window onto a slab of concrete. Garou realizes that Stain's unflinching stance wasn't a sign of bravery. The Hero Killer simply couldn't see Garou coming. Shocked at actually killing someone, Garou breaks down in tears and runs away in a panic.

Who's the real winner in this scenario?

Garou didn't realize but he actually hit Stain's sword as well while trying to punch Stain. That's why Garou was covered in blood.
