@limitlesssigil: That's exactly the point. He wasn't full powered and he was gravely injured. Him requiring outside help is more evidence of that. Again he beat super perfect cell with one arm while barely able to stand up.

That hardly qualifies super perfect cell as SSJ2 tier. That's worse than saying final Frieza is SSJ tier because he kept up with a badly injured newly transformed Goku.

You have to note that Vegeta distracted Cell, and this is what the Daizenshuu says about that Kamehameha.

Frieza was Injured as well. Of course he isn't SSJ Tier, but I've never heard anyone actually make this argument. The only feasible argument for such a claim is the Chozenshu guidebook statement.

How Gohan got injured is irrelevant. He beat SPC with one arm, period. If SPC was SSJ2 tier that never would have worked at all.

SPC is simply not SSJ2 tier. Is he close? Yeah sure, as you can be without being SSJ2.

There really is no way to make an argument for SPC being SSJ2 considering how he lost to newly transformed SSJ2 Gohan.

Went from Perfect cell to - Semi imperfect Cell. Then shortly after ends up becoming perfect cell again?!

He was brutalized. His regeneration kicked in and ended up becoming perfect cell again. Thus the first zenkai boost.

Second zenkai boost was when he blew him self up

Came back as SPC.

Man had 2 zenkai boosts in one fight.

And a senzu bean.

And cell jr's

Once he pukes out 18, he stays Semi-Perfect Cell until he regenerates from the explosion. I don't see where in that video he goes from Semi-Perfect Cell back to Perfect. The Anime is just an adaption of the Manga anyway, and in the Manga, there is for sure only one Zenkai, and once he becomes Semi-Perfect, he stays that way until after the explosion.

He makes it to Pre-revival Vegeta who I honestly could see him beating. Vegeta played catch up to the form Gohan had achieved and he still talked about how impressive it was in the boo saga so I could see him being on the losing majority. I don't see Gohan beating ssj2 goku for a majority though.

The Daizenshuu contradicts the manga, at most what Gohan got from Goku was a pep talk all the power that came from the Kamehameha was his.

@co-boss: They hadn’t even gotten serious yet and Vegeta said it like it was a lowly feat. Vegeta trainer to be stronger than Ss2 Gohan even without the Majin boost. Even before he went majin he was disgusted with how weak Gohan had gotten.

The whole reason Vegeta had gone Majin was because his training had felt like it wasn't achieving what it needed to. Also he 100% would not try to tank spit. He would dodge it and kick Dabura in half like a cell jr.
