King Kong
King Kong
Kong only took on 3 tyrannosaurs and he didn't put any of them away as fast as the spinosaur did his opponent.
That said, Kong took enough bites in his fight that that I think he has better durability than the spinosaur, he did win against much steeper odds, and that was while protecting Ann. I think the spinosaur will be a tough opponent but ultimately, it's going to be a clear win for Kong.

I completely agree honestly, but the Spino also took a neck bite while Kong didnt IIRC, also he did fight them 3, but it took him a while and although he doesnt have ann, i feel the spino could win due to the location as Kong did do well in his location on top of dealing with 3 opponents who honestly had one way of attacking while spino does have a little better chance with his arms. XD
He's never taken punches from someone like Kong. Kong would snap his jaw open. Also Kong is clearly smarter and is willing to use rocks, sticks, and objects to fight with them. Only thing the Spinasours can do is bite & scratch. Kong can bite, scratch, punch, kick, grapple, and toss stuff. He's too versatile for that punkasourass.
I never liked that scene in Jurassic Park 3. Irl, a Spinosaurus wouldn't be able to kill a T-Rex in a fair fight; yes, it's a bit longer, but the T-Rex was much more heavily built and powerful. If the T-Rex got a hold of the Spinosaurus' neck like it did at the start of that scene, the Spinosaurus would be dead, period. The only explination would be that the T-Rex in the movie wasn't fully matured.
As for the fight at hand, KK stomps. The biting power of a T-Rex was 12,800 pounds. That's the strongest bite of any land animal, ever. Not only that, but it's skull was specifically designed to bite other animals in a way that would deliver bone-crushing impacts. The Spinosaurus' bite force is not as strong, and it's skull was designed to catch fish and other sea creatures. If Kong can take a bite from a T-Rex, he can easily take a bite from a Spinosaurus.
You guys do realize that spinos are bigger than t-rexes? This would have been a better battle if you put king kong up against that new hybrid dinosaur in the Jurassic World movie.
how is spiny in JP3 not a fighter?
spiny droppd one t-rex in friggin record time. and lets not forget that she was NEVER EVER DAMAGED in the movie. being hit by a modern plane did nothing. smashing through massive metal fences did nothing. rounds from a rifle that blows up planes did nothing but piss her off. she's also demonstrated extraordinary persistence, horror movie villain intelligence, and strength enough to trash a huge boat and smash through a plane's sides.
she is faaar more powerful than the indominus and would eventually eat kong for lunch. she is unlike anything he's ever faced before.
Kong dropped several V-Rexes, not T-Rexes, they are bigger than the latter and he did most of that while only using three limbs.
I don't see how a single spinosaurus is beating him.
This, exactly.

Nope, that is not the movie Spinosaurus from JP3, this is the fight that is being taken place:
King Kong is 25 feet tall in the 2005 movie...the Vastosaurus' in the 2005 movie were 15 meters (50 feet) long. Granted Kong did have a MAJOR geographical advantage as they were fighting on a mountain/jungle, it doesn't look good for Spino. Spino's bite force is also by far weaker than the vastosaurus, it would've been able to balance that out if Spino had sharp serrated teeth like modern day sharks but they are just as dull as the Vastosaurus.
I mean at least Spino has longer arms that would actually be able to deal some type of damage? But Kong sort of stomps this, the only way Spino has a better chance is if the location has deeper water, water thats at least hip deep for Kong.
This is an absolute stomp for Kong. He's far more agile and functional than the Spinosaurus (assuming we're using the standard JPIII variant). Kong would be the one snapping the Spino's neck here. Far too much overrating of the Spino in this thread, acting like it's the god of the JP universe...far from it.
Also, I believe it was recently documented that the Spino snout MSNM V4047 is actually from a Sigilmassasaurus (tentatively), kind of taking possibly the biggest estimated specimen away from the Spinosaurus, leaving it at less than 50 feet now. Now the range is about 36 to 45 feet, but things can change on a dime, so who knows.
@colonelsanders: You do realize we are indeed using JP III version right? There's no assuming it's fact.
Kong wins.
@bastetz: That's fine, I was too.

dont forget those are vrex, stronger and bigger.
V-Rex are evolved T-rex being better in all respects.

https://kingkong.fandom.com/wiki/Vastatosaurus_rex
The Vastatosaurus had developed many unique features over the 65 million year time gap, but they still retained several recognizable similarities to their Cretaceous cousins. Vastatosaurs had large heads that evolved over time to be thicker and bulkier, giving them extra protection, and its overall leather-like hide reduced physical injury from hunting if its choice of prey was smaller than itself. Its gaping mouth was its main tool for hunting, filled with large teeth that were constantly being regrown to replace those lost in conflict. Unlike most theropods, the Vastatosaurus had overlapping peg-like teeth. Their heads were proportionally shorter and more compact than that of their ancestors, intensely reinforced with thick bone. As the primary weapon of the animal, an individual Vastatosaurus head was often distinctive, being covered with scars and callouses from rivals. Abnormal bone growths from old battles with prey, other predators, rivals, or even mates were not uncommon. A narrow, short rib cage and a large gap between the ribs and hips allowed V. rexes surprising flexibility for animals of their size, a necessary adaptation to survive amongst the towering trees and broken terrain of Skull Island.
Regardless of whether this is true or not Kong wins the same way, in fact this fight is a stomp in favor of the primate
