Spidey cant hurt him

Venom is just too powerful, it would be a lot better of a fight if it was Maguires Spider-Man

Maguire's Spider-Man can't even punch out a balding fat man.

@deutschkurzhaar: spiderman ps4 is way stronger, faster and more durable.

This spiderman can go days without rest and still fight crimes, stop heavy moving vehicles, tank rockets to the face etc.

Going with Spider-Man

@deutschkurzhaar: PS4 Spider-Man is more impressive than Pizza Time-Man.

PS4 Spidey curbs with webbing or concussive blasts. He'd lose if he can't use gadgets or webbing though. He's way quicker and stronger but his striking isn't good enough to overpower Venom's healing, while if he's eventually pierced by Venom, he would be hurt.

@blackspidey2099: Did Venom even use piercing attacks in the movie, I thought it was just Riot?

I haven't seen Venom yet, but assuming this symbiote is similar to its comic book counter-part (high durability against blunt force trauma, but several weaknesses) I guess it depends entirely on the gadgets that Spidey has, right?

@deutschkurzhaar: not true at all. He was fighting two memebers of the sinister six twice.

Electoral and Vulture. While vulture wasnt much of a challenge electro was and peter was dodging and tanking his attacks.

He also used his surroundings to knock down rhino and scorpion at the same time as well.

He even was able to take down a full power Martin lee who is way faster than venom and incredibly strong while still having broken bones.

Spiderman is way faster and can use his webs to hold him down momentarily (his standard webs can hold helicopters in air, Giant cranes etc)

@empressofdread: I can't entirely recall, but I assume he did/can. If not, I don't think Venom can really hurt Peter any more than Peter can hurt Venom, though that regeneration really helps Venom. I guess Venom would still eventually take it in a gadget-less fight after a long battle. With gadgets, I still think Peter curbs though.

People forget that Doctor Octopus fell from the top of a skyscraper onto the train top with Peter, Got hit with a giant cupboard that sent him flying at least 20ft through plate glass into a taxi which was dented upon impact, and that in their final fight Peter literally hurtled himself with his webbing about 100 ft to kick Doctor Octopus through a wooden floor into the ocean below. His durability was seriously buffed in that film to make their fights compelling. Even striking wise, Peter beat the Green Goblin into submission, casually one shot robbers sending flying 10-20ft with a single blow, punched through sandman, and punched through and disabled the Green Goblin's ultra advanced goblin glider (which I think was made out of titanium).

Spidey, Venom didn't impress me at all in his movie.
