What I want to know is...where was all this popularity when Marvel decided to cancel his series?

I didn't even know Kaine had his own series - I'm really lacking on my knowledge of Marvel books ahaha

I'm sorry it got canceled though - that's always a bummer.

It's a shame to show nobody used Kaine vs Vulked Venom or Carnage as examples of how Brutal he can be if the situation arises , With that said I still think Kaine would take this with the slightest advantage coming down to the Mark of Kaine and the Stingers in combination with eachother, also we need this to happen somewhere down the line in asm or new warriors

What you all seem to be forgetting is Kaine is a trained ruthless killer, he trained with the league of assassins and has bested both Peter and Ben (rip) 2 on 1. He may not be as scientific as peter but he has an aptitude towards killing and will use it

I don't recall Lizard's senses being as good as Wolverine's. Admittedly it's been awhile sense I've read anything with him in it. That healing factor last I checked only works if he had time to recover. I don't think Kaine's going to let up.

@master_of_suprise: Lizard has been run through the head and recovered essentially instantly. He's got an amazing healing factor haha.

First, that was Classic Kaine that beat Ben and Peter. Very, very different. Kaine also negates Peter's spider-sense, so Kaine's physical superiority to Peter matters a lot more. And that was before Peter was trained in the WOTS, and to my knowledge Kaine was never trained in any form of fighting by anyone, and I have his solo (@jashro44@wyldsong you know anything about that one? I don't recall it). Kaine's a savage brawler, same as the Lizard who is even more "ruthless", can actually heal, and is physically superior.

I don't know of any references towards his training. He was an assassin but there is no mention of training.

Also in regards to the Peter vs kaine Peter beat Kaine in spider-island...Not that thats the same thing as scarlet spider kaine but since we are using classic kaine...

He was obviously skilled, but yeah, there has never been mention of official training that I can remember.

The Polls are always pretty much meaningless. 9 times out of 10 the more popular character will get the most votes...even if it doesn't make sense he/she would win.

For me, The real winner is determined by the debate. And for that...no one came close to measuring up against @jashro44's arguments for Lizard.

Even if that did happen...Wolverine still came in dead last. By a lot. A ridiculously huge margin. The Falcon could have done better than 7%

Hence why I said "going up against Shed Lizard". ;)

Kaine is leaner and meaner than peter....also a savage fighter who is not going to hold back or worry about kurts family while fighting the lizard....Kaine has a literal beast mode!
