Isnt Thor the only avenger moving in that gif?
You can literally see Thor arm about keeping pace with that repulser blast......As in Thors arm move about the same distance as the energy bolt in the same timeframe.
I think that makes him around mach speed in arm movements.
@death4bunnies: He most definitely is not keeping pace with that repulsor blast. It covers a much larger distance than Thor's hand in this scene. And Quicksilver (about mach 3) also covers a much larger distance whilst ducking and attacking Cap.
Edit: Cap is also moving in this scene, just significantly slower than Thor. However, Thor is actively trying to move while Cap isn't.

I concede, I got a little out there; lol.
@rajjar: Not really impressive and an outlier unless everyone Thor fights can do that. But Quicksilver isn't even moving fast either compared to what he was doing later in the final battle.
I voted subsonic only because there's nothing lower than that in the options the op gave, like seriously spiderman's combat speed is faster than his, I think he's Super soldier level in terms of Combat speed
I think it’s his only combat speed feat, per se. I don’t think it can be called an outlier for that reason alone.
@rajjar: Most definitely. MCU characters seem to only have reaction feats.
He has decent reaction feats that don’t seem to translate at all to his combat speed, which is pretty slow. At least relative to some other higher tiered characters.
Saying Sub-sonic is misleading since that implies he is kinda close to the speed of sound, but that's just not true. He barely fights faster than a normal human, and to put that into perspective, Ricky Hatton, a professional boxing champion, usually punches around 25mph, and his top punch speed maxed out around 32mph. Meanwhile, the researchers in the study could only punch around 15mph. The speed of sound is 767mph. The difference is astounding.
@bleidd: I agree everyone else not shows that level of speed travelling / flying or little bursts in combat here and there only the Quick Silver’s, Flash and Clark (only JL for extended periods) have shown to be on that level.
Still faster than his comic book counter part.
I don't agree with this. 616 Thor has better speed feats. At best you can argue they are roughly equal on average since 616 Thor also has lower showings.
WIERD?
in another scene quicksilver blizes thor easily. iron man clearly moves faster than thor in this scene.
cap america actually moved faster dodging quinjet bullets than thor. sorry.

I've always thought it was weird to classify this as Thor being necessarily fater than everyone is.
Cap himself was already done with his throw, so there's not much movement/momentum to be had in that short a frame of time for him in any case and we can see in other instances just how much he moves his arms after he's done with a throw.
It's hard to gauge what Tony is doing, but it doesn't seem like he's trying to make much arm movement in any case. If anything, it seems like he's cocking his arm back to ready up for a strike at Ultron.... and that wouldn't entail as much movement as actually swinging.
Thor is the only real one who is actually in full motion as by the time we see him he's already swinging. None of this is to say that I think they're necessarily as fast as Thor is, just that that particular scene doesn't do them justice due to circumstances.
Massively FTL+ with Bifrost..
@nightgate: He doesn't.

I'd imagine perceiving Quicksilver and then throwing Mjolnir at him cements some level of enhanced speed. I'd refer to Tony's jet thruster exhaust thingies being frozen in motion as as a baseline for Thor in the gif above.
Though I have no idea why this thread ought to exist.
How is there 50 votes when he’s not as fast as any of the options.
Rigged ballots.
