in theory yes e could.

They are basically counterparts to each other in their respective roles for God and neither likes it. A draw or they kill each other eternally.

I think Saint, he just seems more powerfull to me...dont rlly know why.. :)

If you were familiar with the Saint you would know that he was manipulated, created by and served God too. He only went about doing his own thing when God went missing. Spectre had a nervous breakdown when that happend to him.

Well, there could be a possibility that SOK version of God differs from DC's version.  Sort of how like Spawn's version of God is different.

Let's recap SOKs limits, SOK has trouble with undead Vampires yes a damn VAMPIRE

Let's recap what godhood means, are they even in Sentry's league or Dr M's league
They are chumps

Preacher God feats = Sitting on a throne, allowing psycho Granny to be immunized to the word (only temporarily)....big deal
 giving Preacher an eye patch, dying....THATS IT = chump

Preacher Satan feats = Collecting dead folk, getting stomped by SOK,
 having his home froze over = total chump

Classic Biblical God = Creates the Universe, the World, Mankind in 7 days... actually 6 because on 7 he had a snooze
Classic parts the Seas allowing his people to run to safety
Creates Tempests, Storms, Floods that almost wipe the Earth clean
Turned people into a pillar of salts for looking back at the atomic Flash over Soddom or however its spelt

As a kid Garth Ennis probably went to some kind of Catholic Bible lesson while he was schoolkid in North Ireland
1 He either found religious class so boring he was asleep throughout the entire lesson,

2part of the reason he wrote Preacher was to take the p*ss out of religion and deities

I'm going with option 2 since a lot of his stuff seems to have religious satire
