Spawn can die. When he dies he would just go back to hell.

@Strider92: God Spawn by himself was NOT being amped by the MoM. He was given one when under his own power. People who have read the comic for some reason forget that. There is a huge difference between what both versions can do.

I mean, if there is disagreement then it must not be a mismatch. It must be debatted. That is what this forum is here for. :o I mean few would disagree that this is a mismatch at all. :o

Under his own power which almost wiped him out he destroyed all humans, angels and demons on Earth. He needed the MoM's (Image's supposed TOAA/Presence) power when she let him use her power to recreate the world and shut the gates to Hell and Heaven. He gets misconstrued alot.

@god_spawn: Actually there are two versions. The one that beat the Devil and the God and the one that recreated earth. The one that beat the God and the Devil was pre-amped by MoM. The one the remade earth was Spawn with MoM giving him power. As the guy who posted was obviously coparing the two most powerful versions of each character I just assumed we where talking post-MoM version. If not then yes you're right pre-amp was nowhere near as strong.

@Strider92: I know this and I explained both versions. It's better to assume the first God Spawn because that was his own power, he is not being assisted.

k guys... these are two different multiverses... assuming that spawn would be affected by supes strenght (that is NOT a holly weapon...) supes would win easily, and yeah... i like spawn better... but still, you can't assume that supes survives SPAWNS's hell(not DC's hell...)... there is no sun in hell, he wouldn't be able to drag power from it, so... it's a spawn's point...

Hell King Spawn is as near as Divine Spawn as one can get and owns Supes bad.

Supes can beat 1st and 3rd Age Average Spawn, however hell King Spawn, Divine Spawn, and God Spawn just simply dominate ate hard core.

Its amazing how many Super Man Fanboys think so low of Spawn, the guy who back in the 90s sold more comics than Super and Batman combine.....

Pretty sure Divine Spawn was supposed to be more powerful than KOH Spawn as God in child form was able to outmatch Simmons pre-Divine but yes KOH still stomps Superman that is not in dispute here.

He and God destroyed a lot of the universe during that confrontation with Spawn IIRC causing Simmons to remake it after MoM gave him his powers. Mammon hadn't demonstrated power on that scale.

And yet Satan was trapped on the Old World with God by God Spawn. Mammon broke through God Spawns magic barriers that separated Hell from Earth. More than Satan could do.

What about Superman Prime 1,000,000? Isn't he like the most overpowered thing ever? I think spawn in god form couldn't take Golden Superman. There is a chance they destroy each other and all of existence with their emmence cosmic powers clashing.

While the Man of Steel is quite powerful, I don't see how he could fair with Spawn, who has so much magic power backing him. Speedblitz shouldn't be the go-to response for everything. This is a battle, not a first-one-to-get-a-sucker-punch-in...le. It would stand to reason that for a battle to take place, both combatants would have to acknowledge that something is about to go down, if only for a brief moment. That said, I believe this is a mismatch. Spawn has exactly the tools he needs to come out on top.
