SPawn vs Ghostrider

I know its not fair because Spawn has conquered layers of hell and he has even killed the devil that took his soul. oh yeh and the fact that he owns layers of hell makes him some-what of a God, or devil as the case may be. now he has no limit to his powers, plus he can evolve to enable himself to fight very powerful opponents.

anyway I would still love to see what Spawn would do if he met up with Ghostrider. Even though I like Ghostrider more than Spawn, (I like both these characters) I know Spawn will win. He is so powerful that he is able to take out ordinary Gods (from other worlds) with little problem. Don’t get me wrong Ghostrider can do his fair share of butt kicking, but his bike and chain is a handicap. Spawns entire costume is an extension of his body, so his chains are like his extra limbs. Ghostriders on the other hand has no control of how the chain moves by itself, so I guess that’s another setback.

Oh well I still like Ghostrider more :-)

What do you guys think? Who would win… and remember bias answers come out very obvious.

for a guy who likes Ghost rider you sure do big up Spawn. but i get where your coming from, your giving us the reason you think Spawn would win. well i hate to say it but spawn would win, ghostrider your still the best in my eyes!

I am going to go out on a limb and say Ghost Rider would win this...

Why? He cannot be stopped. If Spawn had done something that would make him "Guilty", Ghost Rider could, in fact, get Vengeance, which in case, would be unstoppable.

In the World War Hulk storyline, where Hulk has defeated every hero on the planet, this is what Dr. Strange had to say:

Given that they fought to a draw, and also that Ghost Rider is going to defeat the devil himself, well...

I think that gives Ghost Rider the win here.

I mean he killed all life on the planet with little effort! So Spawn could and would annihilate Ghost Rider and besides Spawn's powers are limited to his IMAGINATION!!! Now you tell me!

Ghost Rider doesn't have a "most powerful form." Ghost Rider is Ghost Rider, he has always been "god-like," he's just seen as a street-level character... usually written as one too, probably because he rides on a motorcycle instead of a surfboard. But he has always been more powerful than Mephisto.

Ghost Rider kills Spawn

I don't see how either could beat each other.They are both immortal.I have never seen either feel physical pain.

I would usually say Spawn, but I don't know now since Ghost Rider has gotten powerful. He is now confirmed to be able to defeat Hulk. But it's Zarathos who has most possession of the Ghost Rider, not Blaze.

It's hard to determine that. Immortal, I don't really know. Recently Ghost Rider's head was blown off and it came back.

Well I believe if I'm right then Ghost Rider would only have to fight Spawn until his Necroplasm runs out in which Spawn will be sent to hell. But you make a fatal error in that you haven't read issue 100 upwards where spawn kills the Demon of hell (as powerful as Satan and the other fallen angels but powerful enough) and he gains all the powers of a devil with no limits.

Spawn also has his own version of the penance stare that instead of inflicting the pain you did back like Gohstrider, Spawn lets the souls of the people you hurt rip apart your soul and you feel it on your physical body as well as your soul. Spawn also has many other abilities and powers but I'm too lazy to list all of them. oh and a power people have seemed to forget about is his ability to control nature he even created a whole forest.

and he's developing faster than a hellspawn should. He's a super spawn of sorts =P

ok when most of u think ghost rider u think johny blaze or what ever but the ghost rider what johny has is god like not saying spawn could not beat him but thats the only fight were spawn may lose but i dont think so  read ghost rider WWH they talk how strong ghost rider is but with johny its not full power

Penance Stare... Spawn is strong, but he commited to much sins to protect himself from Penance Stare. And Ghost Rider gets stronger than he was in past, he is taking full control of Spirit of Vengeance powers. So I'm not sure is Spawn enough powerfull to win this...

Hell Spawn  All Day

I say this would be a good fight. I don't know who to choose, but I do like both of them a lot.

Ghost Rider's Penace Stare only works on people with souls and Spawn no longer has one their fore making him immune to the penace stare. 
 
From the conversations and Scans I can infer that we are talking about Al Simmons and Al was recently upgraded into Omega Spawn. 
 
Now that Al is Omega Spawn he has infinite ectoplasim meaning he can use his powers an infinite amount of times. 
 
So all Spawn has to do is use his ectoplamic powers to turn Ghost Rider back into his human form and then he can kill him before he turns back into his ghost rider form. 
 
Spawn wins.

This thread was made with the intentions of the current Spawn at the time this thread began, Omega Spawn has nothing to do with this thread.
 
And there are multiple threads of this fight, Spawn wins majority.

if this is not Divine Spawn , i think it's a stalemate .

Since there are different levels of power depending on when you look at Spawn, it could go either way. The Spawn at the very end would probably beat GR, but an early Spawn would probably lose the first battle. I wish they would meet in battle since both have the whole hell and chains thing going on.

I have never read a Spawn comic in my life. With that said, I know everything that Ghost Rider can do. But I read some scans and post about Spawn. I say a draw, till I learn more about Spawn and his strengths/weaknesses.

spawn would win no doubt...sure ghost rider can look into people's eyes and kill them but spawn cant really die because i heard he could just..well..respawn.

spawns suit is also like another limb because even if spawn was knock out...his suit could protect him too nevermind the fact that he could reheal. he can also make his suit as strong as he wants it to be or as light as a feather.

spawn has a limited amount of powers he can use but if he wanted to he can even make a gun that shoots kryptonite bullets if he wanted to kill superman. spawn could also just teleport ghost rider where its sunny out to weakin him.

so the answer is plain out spawn

Age 2 Spawn: Stomps

Spawn because of the whole think were he can take a beatin and give on but on the other hand ghost riider got some moves so if anything its a draw.
