Simmon's power counter is set to 9:9:9:9. Once the counter limit is reached, he is limited to his suits latent powers for a half hour. Then, his power counter resets.

ROUND 1

Pre Schrodinger Alucard. All levels of release are authorized.

Post Angela fight Simmons. He has gained full control of his initial suit.

ROUND 2

Post Schrodinger Alucard

Post Redeemer II fight Simmons. Simmons has full control of his new suit

Who comes out on top?

Round 1: I'm not sure. Could go either way. Unless Alucard is allowed release 0?

Round 2: I'll go for Spawn here. His magic was pretty overpowered during KOH arc. He'd probably find someway of cutting off Alucards abilities (as I believe Alucards powers come from hell? And as the king he could probably cut of his supply) or as he was casually ripping through dimensions he could probably trap him somewhere.

@Strider92: Alucard is allowed his level 0 release in Round 1.

But I personally think Post Redeemer Spawn could give him a hell of a fight regardless. His new suit's chains and cloak give him some good offensive power and range, and have an auto defense reaction to protect Simmons from harm (although this reaction does have limits)

Alucard is completely outclassed anyway you look at it.

Hmm, I figured this matchup would get a little more love than it has gotten.

I'm considering nerfing Simmons a bit if the fight is too one sided

I dont see that happening personally, to me after having read Hellsing Volume 1 to 10, and seeing how Alucard has never been defeated or have come even close to being defeated after his level 0 release i dont see how Spawn would win. We have no clue what it takes to beat Alucard.

Personally, i am not well versed with Spawn so my assessment could be wrong. My knoweledge of Spawn comes from the battle threads here in comicvine. So does he have any telepathy defense? Alucard was mindraping an entire city, along with some werewolves and vampires in Volume 9, does Spawn has any defense against it? Is Spawn physically invulnerable because Luke Valentine, a vampire made solely to kill allucard, got eaten alive by Alucard, could he do that to Spawn?

Nope. Spawn has telepathy himself, and his suit gives him some invulnerability to it, but he's fought off Malebolgia's TP. Spawn beats Alucard 10/10

Trust me your assessment is wrong. This is king of hellspawn. Literally he has so many hax powers you can take a pick and goodbye alucard.

Even Post Redeemer outclasses alucard in everyway shape an form.

i have every showing of Al Simmons as Spawn. i only know about Alucard from the battle threads, like you with Spawn, but nothing Alucard has impressed me.

Spawn on the other hand is... just.... Over powered.

@blueduck: Touche. It was mainly due to DBZ vs comics threads IIRC. They just degenerated into festering piles of fanboyism and nonsensical name calling, trolling, and general unacceptable forum practices.

It's a shame too. But, that's the way things are. A few bad apples ruin the whole bushel.

Technically, Alucard is a manga character, since Kouta Hirano created the Hellsing manga wayy before the anime/ OVA came out...

but yeah, it is a no no. I'm guessing a mod should lock this thread soon.

I'm a big fan of both and Alucard stands a good chance of beating age 1 Spawn but King Of Hell Spawn is just overkill. He could rip through dimensions, stop time, had control over all the demons in hell and a lot of other haxed abilties. Spawn wouldn't need to kill him, he could just toss Alucard into another dimension or send him to hell.

Round 2: I'm gonna go ahead and give this one to Alucard. Post-Schrodinger Alucard is nothing more than a conscience. You can't exactly harm a conscience. Alucard would just let himself be killed again and again, to no avail of Spawn. Alucard is everywhere, yet nowhere. He exist, yet doesn't. How exactly do you defeat an opponent that is nowhere and doesn't exist?

EDIT: The throwing Alucard into another dimension or sending him to hell method wouldn't work either, seeing as Alucard can be wherever he wants. Schrodinger's powers basically made him.. It's tough to explain. He doesn't exist whatsoever, but at the same time, he can be wherever he wants to be. If you cut off his head, destroy his body, whatever, so long as he, as a conscience, can think, believe, and will himself back to life, he will return completely unharmed.

King of Hell would have a obliterated him. 1st age would only lose because of his inexperience with his powers.

However, if he was adept with his Pre-metamorphosis powers he'd stomp anyway.

Okay so, i believe the battle is equal so let me explain. First, Alucard power where he releases his demons can't be canceled if spawn shuts off his power to hell or whatever because Alucards demons aren't from hell as much as the souls that lie within him from everyone that he has killed. On top of this Both Alucard and Spawn can die. Spawn can be killed if he is beheaded by a holy sword (Or something) please understand i only watched the spawn movie but i have researched spawn a bit for this). Alucard Hasn't died or lost but in the 9th OVA it was hinted that you can indeed kill Alucard by removing his heart. Although Intengra says piercing his heart wont kill him, as i said, removing his heart to kill him is indeed suggested. Now when it comes to spawn i don't know if its a specific holy sword that can hill spawn or any holy sword that has been blessed.
