@o13follower: Xemnas would not kill a composite Link, Link's as protected from his reality warping with the MS and ToC as Sora is with the keyblade.

Nah, techically if it is ABC logic then Link would win wouldn't he. I say Xemnas wins by sending him to the realm of Darkness or a good old laser to the face. Also Xemnas In my opinion should have pwned Sora anyway. honestly if you saw Xemnas tossing buildings why would he not toss any worthless chumps like link or Sora aside like nothing or open a black hole and let them fall in? I say it because Xemnas is indeed faster and stronger than what link is used to (don't remember Gannondorf so I might be wrong but still building tosser tosses Link away).

If you don't say which Link, then that automatically means the composite Link is gonna be used. In that case, Sora loses horrendously because Link can stop time, become intangible & invisible, cover the area in explosions, freeze the area, encase himself in an impenetrable barrier, transform enemies into slime monsters or onions, lift tower-sized boulders, cause paralysis, freeze a volcano with an ice arrow, snipe from long distances, become a giant, and teleport among other things.

Even if we go by individual Links, the one in LttP, Zelda 2, and Phantom Hourglass would beat Sora. Hell, any of them with the Triforce stomps.

Sora has almost all of Links powers and more...and he's a thousand times faster.

You assume Ocarina because that is the most recognized, it's even the one they use in Super Smash

@dextersinister: Just as non-existent as most videogame characters with all their weapons and abilities as well as the Link vs. Sora fight. Not to mention, composite Link is always used in VS fights since the beginning when a specific Link isn't used.

And you must not play a lot of Smash Bros because the Link used in Smash Bros Brawl isn't from Ocarina of Time.

This line is pointless, we use characters as they exist in their own fictional universes and no composite Link has ever existed, it's just an attempt to try and make him look more powerful than he actually is, he doesn't even have a personality let alone feats of skill

• each Link is a separate character, if it was a composite character it would need to say that in the OP, there is no special rule for Link
• Sora is the same person in all the Kingdom hearts games
• of course it's Ocarina Link, they even use Ocarina Zelda, you don't need to play a lot of it to add that up

Even so, no Link was chosen so one can easily pick the NES Link, LttP Link, or even the Link from Phantom Hourglass so that Sora loses. Even with OoT Link, since he's the same Link in Majora's Mask and the Romani Milk gives him unlimited magic. And AFAIK, Sora isn't getting through that Nayru's Love barrier.

And I can tell you haven't played Smash Bros Brawl because the Link in that game is obviously from Twilight Princess. He has the same chainmail under the tunic, the Gale boomerang, same bomb design, uses the clawshot instead of the hookshot, and even the first Zelda stage in the game is from Twilight Princess. If that wasn't enough, his trophy description even mentions Twilight Princess.

As for Ocarina Zelda, that's only an alternate color. Zelda's default is from Twlight Princess. Notice the hair color?

I'd say link wins because of his insane arsenal .

Sora doesn't need to get through nayrus love. He just has to wait it out. Even if his magic is limited, Love is activated for about a minute. In the mean time, Link can still be knocked around silly. Something Soras superior speed would allow him to easily do.

Even if Sora can beat Link, LoZ is a much better story and game than KH

@monic_bount: PH Link can stop time. A frozen Sora isn't doing anything.

@nukea6: PH Link needs outside interference to actually use the time stopping ability. He need the fairy to create time orbs. Sora, on the other hand, can use time stopping magic on his own.

Sora pretty easily if we're talking basic equipment and abilities. Sora is faster (by far) and in terms of skill they're probably even. Sora on the other hand has better magic to utilize. And can become a big threat from long range with wisdom form. But once sora goes into any of the other forms and uses dual keyblades then it definitely goes to sora.

by the end of the game he was cutting skyscrapers in half and blocking actual lasers from all directions hitting him. Unless you suck at playing the game

Non-canon Hyrule Warriors Link would probably be a good match for Sora's speed. (But obviously that game hasn't been released yet)

I'm not sure why link is considered so strong in the first place honestly, I've never seen him as that far above street... Anyone care to educate?

@superdrummer: His gear is what puts far beyond the boundaries of the Street or Mid Tier. He holds several items that grant him invincibility such as Magic Armor (almost 3 other invincibility granting items), allow him control over time such as Phantom Spheres, unlimited magic and tons and tons of other powerful weapons and gear. Link also holds the Fierce Diety Mask, a mask which transforms into a being that was able to defeat the reality-warper Majora in her own dimension. Thats not even including the Triforce which allows any wish to come true. Oh and theres four of him due to the Four Sword :) A Composite Link is by far High-Tier.

Would like to comment but OP wasn't specific at all...

Like how everyone assumes 1 Link gets everything from every other link.Ok Sora gets Lethal Frame Stopga and Drive Forms and Genie.Link has no chance against Sora.Sora is hypersonic+ and has MFTL or at least FTL reaction speed.Sora easily could crush Link with Graviga possibly or he summons Cloud to use an Omnislash.Link has 0 chance to beat Sora.

Sora can also fly which is anoter advantage.Sora was fighting Heartless without 0 skill and dominating them.Link can't even touch Heartless let alone a Shadow might flag for spite in Sora's favor since he has Stopga Lethal Frame Drive Forms and many other things which put him above Link.

@drones: By saying "Yeah...no" what are you trying to say exactly.Link can't kill the heartless so that's out of the question.Xemnas would kill Link unless he can reflect and dodge an omnidirection barrage of lasers or atleast half that.Link wouldn't even get past the first part where you have to cut the building in half to continue the fight so that's out of the question aswell.Are you saying dual wielding 2 swords and going faster than light while attacking is not better than Link? Or Perhaps being a master of both Physical and Magical abilities is not better than Link? I think NOT sir.Link has nothing to counter Lethal Frame which instantly stops time and it would also kill Link if you actually see how the move works.Stopga with maximum MP is enough to kill Link.
