Sonic would win quite easily. Only reason I might believe Pikachu would win, is because Sonic might go easy on Pikachu in character. Sonic goes all out against robots, and has shown he will go all out against some living characters like Knuckles, but I don't see him going all out against Pikachu. Protecting, not harming, tiny cute animals is kind of Sonic's M.O..
There are several small cute animals inSonic's world that have a lot of power though, so he would eventually figure it out, and not hold back so much, but this window might give Pikachu a chance to hit Sonic with a massive electrical attack. I'm not sure if it would actually put Sonic down, or even hit him, but I'm not going to say it's impossible.
Sonic for a very solid majority though.
