If Sonic can’t spin dash through something, he’s pretty much useless. He has his limits, and Armstrong is way above them when it comes to durability. I don’t think even the wankiest of Sonic Wankers would say Sonic can cut through objects better then Raiden, or has the power behind the attacks that Raiden has, and yet Raiden couldn’t even tickle Armstrong.

This would basically be the first stage of the MGR fight, with Armstrong dropping the best monologue in fiction, and laughing off a character who does manage to get speedy attacks off that are meaningless, until Armstrong gets done playing around, and just pulverizes him.

I dunno why Archie's being brought up but Sonic solos the verse easily. Considering that modern/post-generations Sonic scales above his old super self means that the dude is simply operating on an entirely different tier.

Armstrong and the Cyborgs are stated above Mach 2. By feats hitting hypersonic ranges with some feats. Also this is not Archie Sonic.

Even Classic Sonic literally one shots. No Amount of downplay changes that. Archie is irrelevant too, game operates an a much more consistent level in base anyway. Armstrong isn’t anything Sonic can’t handle at all. And that’s besides Sonic’s massive speed advantage.

Raiden is stated by Sundowner that even moving and running at Mach 2 he wont make it. Thats travel speed stated.

Raiden is fast enough to jump from guided missile to missile. These missiles are stated to be AGM-65 Mavericks. These missiles are over Mach 1. Yet Raiden is easily leap frigging over them at great speed to cross100s of meters to the target.

Raiden jumps across Sidewinder Missiles which are Mach 2, and then shows the helicopter blades in slow motion in Blade Mode.

Raiden is fast enough to make eight slices in what seems two sword swipes.

In Blade Mode, the very drops of rain seem to stay at a near still as Raiden cuts up to 20 attacks.

The missiles are incoming and Raiden is reacting and moving the oppossite direction. Better feat of reaction and movement speed.

Literally does not matter if Raiden is Mach 2 in any way or not, these characters are still getting violently blitzed by classic era. Hell base Fleetway does it as well, which would be a way fairer fight btw.

The after images absolutely exist though. Cyborg Ninja and Raiden show this for Cyborgs many times.

All these feats been calc to Super Sonic to Hypersonic in some cases by people on this site and Spacebattles and other forums. I mean clearly your soooo much smarter than all the people who calc and come up with super sonic to hypersonic Raiden calcs consistently.

Look at the instance of Raiden punching Armstrong, he punches Armstrong for 11 seconds straight

Lets just ballpark and say he punches Armstrong 200x (and that's being generous) this would equate to 18 punches per second, if Raiden's punch covers 3 feet and then has to retract, that's 6 feet per punch, or 108 feet per second of distance...this is about 1/10th the speed of sound

No one is denying that Raiden can react to super/hypersonic projectiles either

Whatever Raiden's base reaction speed is the blade mode would be 10x that according to official sources
