Current Sinestro doesn't even need a ring to leash and use Parallax as his lapdog. Ringless Sinestro solos.

The Parallax did nothing for Sinestro as far as i know, he was still getting ragdolled by Ultraman, and Superwoman in the recent Forever Evil.

Came here to say that. the only involvement Sinestro had in FE was getting held by the neck by Ultraman, followed by Sinestro beaming Ultraman in the face. Then later you have him fix BA's jaw. That's about it.

Meanwhile, he already took down Volthoom earlier by himself and Beat down Jordan like a Lizard plays with a newborn mouse before eating it.

Seriously, that's how I saw parallax' handling of Hal.

You are also missing the part where Superman had lassoed him helpless just as well, or Hal Jordan stalemating him.

What did you mean take down Volthoom earlier by himself. Firstly he didnt even have Parallax powers back then and secondly all he did was harm him followed by Volthoom getting up just fine.

The only thing that actually did anything serious to Volthoom was Hal Jordan draining him and being cut by Nekron.

But what actually happened was they fought together and stalemated with either of them being able to really get an upper hand. Hal Jordan matched him blow for blow, so you have me at a complete loss how you are interpreting that.

And that doesnt show Parallax doing anything for Sinestro? Or needing Black Adam to move a moon? Or being stalemated by Hal Jordan.

Honestly i havent seen anything suggesting Sinestro is any more powerful with Parallax, though i have fallen behind on 2 weeks of comics every since someone introduced me t Suzuka.

Hal didnt stale mate Sinestro with Parlax. Neither was really trying cause of their friendship. It ended like this:

And most recently Sinestro just used Paralax as his guard dog and completely embarassed Hal and the fight ended like this:

As per his fight with Jordan, they are friends. He's admitted it himself, he's the closest thing he has to a Best Friend. He doesn't want to kill Hal Jordan, not yet anyway. This has been shown numerous times.

classic versions, id say thor. but i havent kept up with current sinestro, and it seems like hes gotten an amp recently

@ captain_batman_FTW ( You can't be serious!! A power ring over Thors hammer..Just no..not at all..Silver surfer would Beat Sinstro, Thor usually stomps surfer. Blah. Quasar is a close fight for Sinstro, I think Sinstro would win the majority but a good fight it would be. Thors fights with Quasar show how easily he beats anyone with Quantum bands or or power rings. Thor drains, or bfr's or God Blast "WHICH NO RING CAN STOP". Sinstro would make a good fight but he's definitely not winning the majority. Thor is more a better and BIGGER power set. he has more ways to win, he's Much, Much stronger more durable, he's even faster, and has much more combat exp. I love Sinstro but sheesh Thor haters here. Is there anyone with an unbiased opinion??? No?? ok!!!! THOR WINS simple but a good fight

I get it was special but he was only mad, didn't have the power gem yet, so it was his own abilities, and he did stomp then, and BRB as well actually. But I take your point. My point is, Thor has murder stomped Quasar easily. He has vaguely abilities he can do the same thing to Sinstro in this aspect. ty forf the reminder... @ Goldchamp101 ..Yes no bfr opps. But still has the other ways. I just see Thor for the majority. I think it will be a good fight, Sinstro is one of my favs, I like him better then any GL any day. But I just don't see him over coming Thor. With Thor draining and being able to tank pretty much anything Sinstro can dish just makes sense to me. Anyway Sinstro can probably pick a few wins if he doesn't let his arrogance get to him, and blinds sides Thor quickly. But only a few Thor would come back to haunt him in the End.

@destinyman75: It may have been warriors madness. But that's debatable. What we do know is that he was insane. Hydraulic strength which he can't do normally. Also when has thor pwned quasar?

Standard versions, Thor has higher high end feats...but with Parallax I'm not sure what standard Thor can do.

Thor wins against most lanterns, including this one. If he plays smart he wins most of the time. He definitely has the durability to take anything Sinestro can throw at him, seeing as he fights planet busters all the time.
