I can see this going either way.
You can make a valid case either way, especially since it's morals off. I'd prolly back the Team, though.
Silver Surfer Probably wins he pretty much has all the same powers that Martian Manhunter & Doctor Manhattan has and more he can destroy souls he can regenerate from nothing he can create black holes and can survive the gravity of a black hole and he has speed feats similar to Wally West.
SS throws a black hole at them
SS throws a black hole at them
@itouchedtheboat: I agree 100%. Exactly what I was saying, Sinestro could also potentially win by himself aswell though
Surfer is only at about Thor level so putting him against 2 people in that same level doesn't seem fair to Surfer. Additionally, he's not a smart combatant. He doesn't like to fight for starters and he doesn't use his best abilities. The times he's fought other high tier guys he'll punch and shoot blasts from his arms. He's over hyped and frankly a waste of a fighter. He's been one of my favorites since I was a kid but he's horrible in a fight.
@yarva: Surfer is only about Thor level?. Wait what?

I mean, he's been matched completely by Thor every time they've fought.
@highaccuser: Sure, when Surfer never goes all out or refuses to fight with a full heart.
When he does, he trashes opponents on that tier, see Beta Ray Bill, fairly easily.
@brucerogers: Surfer has lost to Thor twice and one of which he was aided by Adam Warlock even and has never beaten Thor.
@motifian: Surfer has only lost to Thor during Blood and Thunder when Thor was amped and bloodlusted considerably. The writer has even suggested that all heroes were holding back against him to boot.

When Thor attacked Galactus, Silver Surfer was enraged to face Thor ... the result was the same - Thor's advantage.
@nortonek: He still didnt use more than half of his abilities though, nor was he bloodlusted enough to bother.
@nortonek: He still didnt use more than half of his abilities though
Which goes to my point that he's not a smart or good combatant.
@brucerogers: Can not the same point be made for Thor? Thor also does not use most of the hammer skills in many characters.
Writers tend to ignore the versatility of the characters. Martian Manhunter also suffers from this.
Therefore, I understand your point. But I don't think it's justifiable.
@yarva: Thats when he is not bloodlusted. Unlike here. Dont confuse the lack of will to fight with stupidity.
@nortonek: Not when Surfer has far more power and versatility.
@highaccuser: Sure, when Surfer never goes all out or refuses to fight with a full heart.

Thor holds back as much as he does. The Bill feat is just inconsistent for that reason unless it's used as evidence Thor is superior to Bill, and it wouldn't be the only instance supporting that.
Bloodlusted Surfer takes this
@highaccuser: Thor holds back, but nowhere as much as Surfer does and especially not against opponents who can take it. Plus he is a much more eager combatant as well.
The Bill feat shows that Surfer can really win or at least dominate fights against Thor level guys, when he has to.

Why assume Thor holds back any less? Surfer was getting pretty pissed at him when they last fought.
Not really. Surfer wasn't putting any more effort than he does fighting Thor nor did he use any versatility. He just beat him up with his fists which he obviously can't do to Thor.
@highaccuser: Are you talking about Fraction's run where Surfer was looking for the Galactus seed and Thor kept attacking him?. Surfer was barely even fighting back and still knocked Thor down with his board, until the fights were interrupted. Surfer clearly had the upperhand even when hardly fighting back barring an energy blast or so.
In Bill's instance, he wanted to stop him from starving Galactus by destroying planets. He put in more effort and was going for offence far more. He just regretted it.
@mr-luxcipher: You know where that pick of SS is from?

Thor was still wounded. Silver Surfer was enraged with Thor. As I said, Thor always has the advantage against Norrin. Maybe I do not agree with that, but that's what the comics show us.
