Silver Surfer is a monster morals off.But so is Darkseid.Darkseid has one-shotted Superman a few times.More than Supes has done him.

Although surfer has the power to win this he won't use it quick enough on DS and even though DC has tried to make DS into a clown, I say he beats surfer on average for a majority.

Morals off, and post annihilation surfer, assuming the fight takes place on Earth, Surfer is going to have a reasonable chance to win.

Its just given the planetora of abilities Surfer has, he could really be a scary opponent.

Its just we have seen morals off Surfer a couple of times in comics, and he looked no where as powerful as you would expect him to be.

Should i post all the scans where that OB hasn't work? I have like 4 or 5 i think plus the one from the crossover when he did shoot him and he survived... OB doesn't work... like... ever...

Its a little harsh don't you think, calling someone a troll simply because he doesn't agree with you.

Also Omega Beam, given more current portrayal, at the least can be questionable. Granted , at least , if you only look at high end feat it has enough to suggest it can one shot Surfer, the same goes other way around to suggest Surfer could tank it.

Also its not like Surfer himself doesn't have few tricks that should work on Darkseid too, trapping him in the board, matter manipulation on planetary level, planet busting / worm hole creating energy attack, all should work I would think.

@hardcorefakes: interestingly I actually sort of changed my mind to Darkseid winning. The Omega Beams are not a guranteed win and people need to understand that. Doesn't really matter what you call me because I take anything someone says with lower than 100 posts with a grain of salt.

Also where does the underlined part come from, your assumption? Coz i know DC writers who disagree with you.

So its not only clear on panel potrayal, even writers disagree with assertion that Superman couldnt tank the Omega Beam, and in line with both consistency as well as clear writer's intent.

Omega Beams are often overblown in comicvine.

@killemall lol read more.Darkseid can use the Omega Beams to erase anything that isn't protected by the source itself.It's been stated in canon before.Maybe not the New 52 but this forum post was Pre-52 so that counts.Darkseid was using his OB for real and Superman tanked them while protected by the source and he escaped severely injured.Do you know anything about Darkseid mate?Want some scans to prove you and that writer wrong if Darkseid was for real?

Well for one Silver Surfer is significantly faster, and just as versatile.

Its the fact that we are using an amped up version of Darkseid makes it a bit hard to argue against him.
