Dunno bout the other guy but Sub Zero can control his own body's molecules to completely turn himself into ice, teleport, rip out spines and limbs, has mastery over multiple martial arts and has fought just about every single type of fighter there is.

Sub Zero is way more proficient in fighting and he is incredibly brutal. I think Shoto's ice is a bit more powerful and his flames will help out, but ultimately SZs superior control of his ice coupled with his fighting skill should give him a fairly easy win. Also his teleport will let him get in close and basically ruin any ranged advantage from Shoto.

Todoroki is vastly more powerful and Sub-Zero has no feats to blitz.

Todoroki wins, i think both are similar in speed but todoroki reaction are better.

Subzero is vastly more skilled, capable of teleporting, turning his body into ice, creating clones, casually tearing off limbs with one arm, and is significantly faster.

He can teleport and is faster? Scans?

Todoroki stomps, his elemental powers far trump Zero's and he doesn't have the speed to Blitz him.

Sub Zero is supposed to be one of the faster characters around... I consider MK ninjas to be about Stain level at minimum in regards to speed.

Based on? Sub Zero can shatter blast proof doors with his ice, counter hellfire, and has withstood 3000 degree flames (which, depending on Fahrenheit or Celsius ranges from decently above melting point of steel to outright doubling it).

If Sub Zero gets his possession feats, then it gets REALLY lopsided.

Shoto can unleash Stadium sized ice ridges with just a step of his foot and with no morals there is no reason for him not to use it against his enemy.

Even his normal Ice attacks can be scaled to small buildings based of this one alone which is one of his lower end moves.

City Block level attacks in mere moments his Ice is more powerful than Zero until you show me that he can do this. How would he be able to close the gap If all of that is heading his way.

I just said, he can withstand 3000 degree flames. Depending on whether you interpret that as Fahrenheit or Celsius, it's decently above the melting point of steel or double it entirely.

Shouto has better crowed control with his ice, I haven't seen anything to suggest the raw power behind the ice is actually superior to Sub Zero's... Certainly not enough to suggest it would be effective against a guy who can outright become the ice....

Todoroki's ice is useless (as SZ can destroy ice with just a touch) and Sub-Zero is vastly superior in H2H. His fire side could become a problem but Scorpion's fire is arguably hotter by feats although Todoroki holds advantage in pure raw power, his attacks could easily be aim dodged or blocked with ice.

Liang could just make ice clones as decoys and teleport behind him and then proceed to rip his spine off.

Sub beats him. Too fast, too experienced, and too willing to go for the kill.

Todoroki, his ice manipulation is much more powerful than SZ and has AoE to counter SZ's speed not to mention he has his fire side as well which adds more versatility.

Sub-Zero actually resists freezing and he demonstrated this in the MKX comics, so Shouto should rely on his fire manip. Which Sub-Zero still counters.
