OT: Bucky jumps on the roof of the car and Arthur just puts his hand through the roof, grabs bucky and, idk, throws him off the highway or just beats the hell out of him. Basically, Arthur can get into melee range and when that happens this is a mismatch and Bucky dies.

Aquaman easily beats Bucky.

Aquaman can't grab him, Bucky was dodging bullets while on the roof and he would just jump off then make the car explode which would leave Aquaman nearly K.Oed before he gets a bullet to the head. Winter Soldier stomps.

Bucky and his team can't even kill an unarmed Sam and you think he can beat a shirtless, Aquaman...don't see it.

He wasn't dodging anything. Natasha simply shot at the roof in his general area and Bucky just moved a bit and didn't get hit. How exactly is he making the car explode given that he didn't do that in the actual scene? When Bucky jumps on the window Arthur either punches him or grabs him through the window and then takes him down. Or alternatively, when Sam slams on the brakes and Bucky is flung from the car, Arthur just gets out of the car and beats Bucky down. A bullet isn't killing Arthur when a sword attack from Manta couldn't even pierce his skin lol. If he really needs to he can just rip off the car door and use it as a shield as Cap did in The First Avenger.

So to recap, a bullet isn't killing Arthur; Arthur can close the gap with little trouble, and Bucky still has no feats that would allow him to last more than 3 seconds in a melee fight with Arthur.

@maestromage: Nah. Arthur isn't completely bullet proof he was blocking them with metal and showed discomfort. A high calibur sniper rifile and grenades end him.

Yeah, you were saying? Plus, I'm pretty sure they said something about this before the film came out that bullets might pierce his skin but they won't so any/much real damage. I could be misremembering though.

Also, how is a grenade ending him did you even watch the film? He tanked a grenade in the opening 15 minutes and people have been bringing it up ever since as a low-showing. So yeah, Arthur still walks up to Bucky and one-shots him.

Where in the the film did Arthur get injured by a bullet? he was shot point blank above his eye and it just pissed him off

Interestingly, the fodder with the gatling gun may be more of a threat than Bucky here, though the grenade launcher can certainly knock Aquaman down and repeated hits will hurt. If Aquaman can tank gatling gun bullets, he takes this nearly 10/10. If not, he can still win, but with significantly more difficulty and injuries.

@tyger: You contested Arthur no selling a sword by saying that “he was blocking them with metal and showed discomfort”. The gif showed that neither of those things are true as Arthur neither blocked it with metal (he took it to the chest) not did he show discomfort (facial expression didn’t change and he didn’t move when the sword struck his chest). Again, given this feat, bullets aren’t going to do enough damage (if any) to put Arthur down.

And again, a grenade isn’t putting Arthur down given that one of his low showings is tanking a grenade bare chested and though he was downed, he also seemed to have taken no damage and his ability to fight and move didn’t seem to be impaired in the least. This isn’t even mentioning Arthur many other impressive durability feats like taking a punch from Superman, tanking a hit from the Karathen, taking hits from Stepenwolf, no selling falling from a plane into a desert etc. Also Bucky doesn’t enter the scene with the grenade launcher, it’s handed to him later and I doubt that Bucky will even get to that’s point.

The punch from the Atlantean (pretty sure it was Murk actually) was unquantifiable so not sure what your point is. We have no idea how powerful it was or wasn’t.

So Arthur still at tanks everything Bucky can dish out and manhandles him.

@maestromage: No I didn't but you obviously can't remember the scene properly because he only used metal to block bullets which I was referring to. Bucky will absolutely get to that point because Aquaman can't tag him. Bucky's crew will mow him down with a machine gun too, and he isn't surviving.

We know that Atlantean punch came from a fodder and that it could barely destroy a broken down wooden pillar inside of a broken down wooden boat. Grenade destroys Aquaman

@tyger: I didn’t realise you were referring to when he blocked bullets with the metal thing, I thought you were talking about him vs manta my bad. But you haven’t brought any new arguments for Arthur’s not being able to tank bullets. Arthur being unable to tag him is ridiculous and you haven’t given any reason why he can’t. Arthur has tagged Steppenwolf who was in turn caught a missile out of the air and matched WW (a casual bullet timer). That alone is above anything. Bucky has done speed wise, so Arthur not tagging him is ludicrous. Who says that hats get is fodder? You? Just because you or others have labled him as fodder, that suddenly doesn’t invalidate history feats. His ONLY feats are against Arthur so, again, his strength is unquantifiable. In fact, what we saw actually contradicts him being fodder given that he performed significantly better against Arthur than the other elite soldiers did. And you can’t use the lack of big destruction to lowball a feat. Superman doesn’t destroy a city every time he throws a punch but that doesn’t mean he can’t because we’ve seen him do better. Also my guy, you keep insisting that a grenade one shots him even though he literally tanked a grenade to the chest in the first 15 minutes of the film.

Aquaman was a lot weaker than I expected, but he still has this, I don't think it's close.
