No superhumans. Equipment is real, both meaning that the guns (that are normal ones, not super-weapon type things) are guns rather than lasers, and that the Joes have the actual equipment that their stuff would resemble, rather than merely things that obviously refer to them, E.G. if they had planes from the '80s era they would be actual F-14s, not merely those Sky Strikers that look like that aircraft. Of course their equipment is modern. The Joes and Cobra can be any continuity's version, E.G. the American cartoon (preferably the Sunbow series, not that piece of garbage other one), '80s Marvel comic, etc. Same for Cobra.
