Shanks after a brief fight, this is getting goofy tbh. I expected way much from big mom -though I expected far more from Kaido.

Shanks doesn't even need feats anymore to prove he's above her.

Anyone got a link for the new scans? If Shanks just beat Kidd after a short fight, that's one thing, but if he actually one-shotted him, that's another.

Anyway, we didn't need new feats to know Shanks would win (though a stomp is a bit much- no yonkou could stomp another in the current era).

For now I'd say Shanks low-mid diffs.

kid was going to one shot the entire red hair fleet, shanks show this with his amazing future sight and one shot him with the attack roger did on oden, you need to remember that the explode was from kid rail gun and not from shanks haki attack.

This is so shameful for Big Mom right now. He did with a single attack what Big Mom couldn't do with multiple. It's sad that the only female Yonko who was the Queen of Pirates is this down bad.

Well she is the strongest female in OP atm, so that defaults to me as Queen of Pirates(I think Jinbe said something along those lines in Whole Cake Island). Not that she actually is obv.

In terms of portrayel, this is another L for her. If being mocked about her panties, appearance, and age during major battles wasn't enough lol.

Shanks was only sweating because of all the potential casualties of his fodder Fleet consisting of a bunch of senior citizens. Most of his Fleet are just people who never even met him and wave his flag around. Nothing more. Are not comparable to his main 10 members.

Anyways.... Shanks wins but does not low dif another Yonko. That is silly. I'm going to say up to high dif but not extreme dif. Shanks is way smarter then Big Mom and technically has better showings AP wise.

@wushu59: agreed. People are getting way too carried away, no Yonko of the current era could 'stomp' another. Shanks would have an upper hand for sure but BM would definitely put up a fight.

(I might make an exception in that statement for Blackbeard, whose DC and AoE are great but so far has no good new feats...honestly wouldn't be surprised if Shanks stomped him for now)

Hm, many notes.

1. the difference between shanks and the other two, is that Shanks is Full power all the time. Unlike kaido and big mom who can transform into more powerful versions.

2. KOs, while not meaningless, are not the end all be all in fights in one piece. Luffy, kidd, and law got knocked out multiple times. Only to recover and fight back later, this knockout was significantly longer than any one tho except when Luffy was knocked into the sea.

3. Big mom did knockout kidd and law, as soon as she got to full power, somehow they stood up, only for neither to take a significant strike from Bigger Mom. Law took hits from her, but she was on her back and none of them were named.

4. Law and Kidd combo better combo than Kidd and his whole crew. If Shanks had to deal with the threat of Law and kidd, both of which capable of wiping out his whole crew as well as manipulating the battlefield, would've been a bit of a different fight.

All that being said, it's not hard to figure Shanks being stronger than big mom off that one showing. But definitely not significantly enough for him to low or mid dif

Shanks probably beats Kaido and Big mom handily in 1v1s but not effortlessly. I think he never bothered taking them out because he wanted to maintain the fragile power balance between pirates and the WG/navy. As bad as kaido and big mom are...the celestial dragons getting their way is way worse. Some people seem to think shanks is going to break bad after what he did to Kid but from shank's point of view, the dude was seconds away from murdering a bunch of people. He also read info about Kid and probably knows that he raised his bounty through dirtbag tactics. Regular citizens are probably better of if the Kid pirates don't exist lol

At this point, Shanks wins high diff. I used to have it at extreme diff but times have obviously changed lol. But I don't believe that he will one-shot her. I'll concede and take the L if they fight in the future and he does manage to one-shot her, but keep in mind that she fought evenly with Kaido for 3 days without taking any severe damage. I know it's cool that Shanks one-shot Kidd and all, but let's not get crazy I think some of you are severely downplaying and underestimating her.

I agree that Shanks wins but Big Mom isn't something Shanks can oneshot. People have to realize that Big Mom has insane amount of Stamina, so much power, and even greater resistance to Haki. Shanks would win but Big Mom will give him a lot of trouble. This isn't something that Shanks can oneshot.

Shanks does not one shot, but he did just one shot a man who could take attacks from Big Mom unguarded and get up afterwards then proceed to cause her significant pain and damage. Big Mom would have one-shotted Kid if she could, as she did to a gear fourth luffy who clashed with her in her own turf. That gear four was weaker than even the Luffy who challenged Kaido since the straw hats become stronger AFTER each island and Luffy went on to arguably surpass gear fourth in base form after his training from Hyogoro, a Luffy Kid should scale to at minimum assuming he got no stronger from fighting Linlin (who he did not defeat nor did Law and neither could Luffy before king's coating or gear fifth) or that he didn't simply get a post-arc powerup like a strawhat would. I don't think the explosion of Kid's own weapon did as much damage as I've seen claimed. Shanks one tapping Kid is a very significant feat for him that instantly made me admit I was wrong about Kaido being relative to the likes of Shanks or Mihawk. They are a tier above the Onigashima yonko and likely more comparable to the likes of Roger and Ryuma.

@godlike_warrior: She would put up the sort of "challenge" that Luffy did against Kaido in the anime I think. If she wasn't threatening his allies he'd probably let her feel like she was doing well until deciding to turn up and defeat her. She seems inferior to Kaido who I now can actually believe intimidated Kaido into backing down before Marineford.

Could go either way. Shanks's AP is higher but Big Mom is a tank. Endurance is like the most important stat in One Piece. It really comes down to how well they deal with each other's attacks which is unknown one way or the other.

Narratively its Shanks for sure.

Big Mom is a fraud, the only thing that's relevant about her is her stamina.

Thats not a very solid argument. It only proves Shanks has a higher AP than Big Mom. Which is great, but Big Mom is 1000% tougher than Kidd anyway. It's also arguable whether Kidd was able to hurt Big Mom. I honestly felt like it was Law who did the work.

Shanks wins mostly due to this.
