Idk what cheating is, but Sephiroth has literally no chance. This is a massive mismatch.

depends what sephiroth we are talking about, if its his strongest then he absolute rekts shunsui into oblivion, the dude has so many techniques and his stats are massively higher than shunsui.

Depends on the version of Sephiroth.

- Classic pre-lifestream Sephiroth loses handily. He is powerful but Shunsui is just better. Faster, better techniques, smarter fighter.

- post-lifestream Sephiroth (eg. Advent Children Sephiroth) should win without too much trouble. Massive stat increase, and so many hax and op powers like massive telekinesis, phasing in and out of existance or lifestream warping, Shunsui will just get bodied man.

- Jenova fused Sephiroth (ffvii final boss) makes it a stomp. Sephiroth can just insta heal and spam solar system level attacks such as Supernova.

I'm quite positive that Shunsui doesn't even need his bankai to finish Sephiroth. A quick game of Kageoni and Takaoni and its curtains for him

Miss-match, maybe closer or possibly a win for Sephiroth if he had absorbed lifestream first, but that's very hypothetical.
