Sentry. He's pretty much the only person that has ever stopped Void, but that gets into a whole debate if Sentry/Void are just two different personas of Robert Reynolds or not, which I'm not getting into right now.

Hard to say really, I'd guess it'd take extremely high end telepaths, soul manipulators (as he stated that the physical appearance is nothing but a shell for a unbound soul or something like this), et. He's a pretty much the NLF character, but taking a Skyfather level above him should totally suffice as he has little to prove to be able withstand this kind of power.

Well if the JL is allowed to do whatever's necessary, Wally (through speed steal), Martian Manhunter, Hal and the others can easily contain the Void for a couple of minutes and give Supes the time to fly to the sun for a nice sundip, come back and vaporize the Void on a subatomic level. And no, he hasn't come back from something like that, even during his time in the Sun he said he regenerated from a single atom, which is all well and good, but doesn't help you too much if there are no atoms to regenerate from.

Is this thread a joke? Superman vs Void is a good matchup enough with all the ridiculous feats Superman has done. Add Flash to Superman and you have a team who can basically beat anyone with nearly unlimited speed of Flash and strength/durability of Superman there's basically no limit to what they can do in combo. Hell, there are no regulation for this fight so there is no reason why Flash wouldn't just go back in time and kill Sentry as an infant making him and the void being erased from present timeline. Flash can SOLO this. But whole Justice League? I seriously hope people who say Void stomps are just joking, this thread should be closed.

This has to be some joke Superman could handle Sentry single handedly if out of the vicinity of casualties. Like this is pure bias otherwise. The "million suns" is hyperbole. Superman is powered by not just Sol but all the stars in the galaxy.

@thoromdil: we don't know exactly what the sentry is, I'm not sure that killing Robert Reynolds as a child would suffice. Reading the first two series dedicated to sentry I had the impression that Bob retconned his origins to make them similar to those of a comics book superhero,and that was way before they began talking about matter manipulation. I'll post scans in which Morgan la fey kills sentry from the past and he comes back, Morgan statement is pretty vague BTW
