What's the starting range?

Less than 20 meters, and I could see Michael close the gap and steam roll Scorpion. Then cut his freakishly pale eyed head off/in half with that butcher knife.

If Johnny Cage can do it with a saw-edged shield, why couldn't Michael Myers with that butcher knife?

They are both only athletic level humans, but MM is bigger and marginally stronger (close to/at Olympic Level, in Strength only).

Movie Johnny Cage wasn't that impressive.

Movie Michael Myers was a tank.

A tank at short range that could steam roll Scorpion, rag doll him, and then get to knifing.

The movie Scorpion wank is too high.

Could Scorpion win here? Yes, and probably would. But you can't say that MM has no chance at doing what I said he could do.

Who in the world told you Johnny Cage is a normal Human ? Hes a superhuman with Shadow Powers specifically Bred by a Cult to fight in Godly Tournaments and slaughter the opposition... There's a reason why hes used to fight against Elder Gods.. Hes basically walking Kryptonite.

Johnny Cage in the MK movie was just a badass conventional martial artist with something to prove to his fan base.

He got conned by Shang Tsung, posing as his mentor, to enter the Tournament.

I've seen the movie ever since it originally came out probably 80+ times over the years since it's release (no joke).

Johnny Cage fights pretty well for a normal human, even pulls off a cheaply animated "Shadow" side kick, but beyond that does NOTHING superhuman. Even the kick didn't seem to do anything more than a normal, solidly stuck, stepping side kick would do.

Yea, they were both close to the explosion, but Myers is the one who endured the fire. So, there really is no point whatsoever to reference how close Loomis was. Hardly anything happened to him.

You are taking unfortunate editing of the film as a undeniable fact. Your argument is besides the point of what I was trying to say. Yes, where the film was edited; it looked as though Loomis was supposed to take the brunt if the impact but clearly he did not when he emerged with little damage. Just because your theory holds water doesn't mean it's the full truth.

Clearly they intended Myers to be engulfed in flames and for Loomis to be the ravaged hero. Just like they intended for him to die. Point is, what happened, happened.
