Steppenwolf's axe had many moving parts to it. It is technology. Stormbreaker is pure Uru. Mjolnir has survived in the vacuum of space without shattering. No reason that Stormbreaker does not tank it.

Even changing its temperature by 1 degree would require taking out a lot of energy from it based on how high its specific heat seems to be. Stormbreaker also seems to produce flames that are very good in heating things up as it instantly cauterized Thanos' arm when Thor cut him. Im gonna say no.

You are right. Being visible under water isnt really great but it also melts a part of Knightcrawler so it shouldn't be too bad. Dunno if that would be enough to say its in the same tier as Stormbreakers heat.

Firstly, you can freeze anything. It would 100% freeze. Heat resist or capacity or whatever some of these people are talking about doesn't mean a damn thing.

Secondly, it doesn't mean it will then shatter.

If we scale it from Mjolnir, then it will. Hela broke it with one hand. Supes is way above Hela in strength. Both are Uru.

If we treat it as special, like most Marvel kids do, then probably not.

If we're being honest we don't know how cold superman's breath is, it's only feat is breaking the wolf axe which has garbage piercing feats and best durability feat would be high kilotons nuke level Doomsday due to not getting cut by Wonder Woman's sword.

Stormbreaker scales to Uru Mjolnir which rekt Sokovia, which is in the megatons.
