I would give Treya a majority. Shan tends to be about Dark Council level, which IMO Treya is somewhat above
Good, close fight regardless of who wins. I might actually favor Satele due to both comparable Force power and better saber skill.
Satele
EDIT: I dunno what I was smoking here. Traya should win, although I think Satele could win a round or two.
Traya should be able to defeat Satele for a solid majority. Satele wouldn't be able to defend herself against Traya's absurd level of power.
Interesting art for Kreia. The Lord of Betrayal wins, anyway. Satele has no edge in skill (and might even lose that fight), and she lacks the potency of Traya's telekinetic, telepathic or healing powers (she's outclassed in all domains), not to mention Traya's Drain.
@shootingnova: What do you think about Satele absorbing a lightsaber in Hope considering the immense energy it contains?
@darthduelist9: Very good, though she did note in The Journal of Gnost-Dural that she would've been overwhelmed in short order, IIRC. I imagine she might be able to use it successfully against Traya's Lightning. She doesn't have an answer for Kreia's better powers in other aspects, and she can't win herself. Unless, of course, she manages to absorb Kreia's blade and channel it into other powers. In that event, though, I doubt Kreia would continue pushing her blade but rather resort to Drain to end the fight.
@shootingnova: was it ever confirm Tutaminis granted her the TK push on Malgus, or fan logical consensus.
@sirfizzwhizz: The latter, but it's been shown by the likes of Corran Horn and Nejaa Halcyon that absorbing a lightsaber blade grants you incredible powers.
@shootingnova: Well wouldn't her advancement in Tutamis also reflect on her general Force power?
@darthduelist9: Not necessarily. We tend to generalize that one's power in one area means power in another, but the truth is that Jedi/Sith are generally more skilled in one area than another (not that they can't be equally skilled in multiple areas, of course). We can equally scale Traya's Lightning up to her Drain, etc.
@shootingnova: Agreed but how do you then interpret accolades which claim person A is more powerful then person B? Isn't that the same kind of generalization?
@darthduelist9: You can be more powerful than somebody else but they can still be better than you at certain aspects. Fortunately, if you're more powerful than somebody, you also tend to be better at most things than them - just SW convention.
all we know about prime shan is that she supposedly is = darth marr
traya wins cause she has feats, really impressive feats
Hmm my opinion of Marr has been raised considerably recently, and Satele is considered by Marr himself to be his equal. Marr didn't even consider end of Act III Nox as definitively capable of beating ANY of the Dark Council members at that time, and I'd say Nox's showings outclass those of Traya. This very well could be Satele's fight to lose...
@nfactor1995: What are you talking about regarding Marr not thinking Nox could beat any of the DC members? He just witnessed Nox beating Thanaton and acknowledged it.
On-topic, Traya wins. She has better feats and accolades in both lightsaber combat and the Force.
@shootingnova: Marr says, "With us, you are the ruler of all the Sith, answerable only to the Emperor himself." Nox replies, "We'll see how long that lasts." Then Marr answers back, "I think you will find us more than equal to your threats."
Somewhat open to interpretation (honestly not that much IMO), but I took it as Marr essentially saying that any of the remaining members of the Dark Council are definitely at least a match for Nox, should he try to take them out. Especially given that the only way to move up it seems is to kill whoever is in front of you (i.e. Nox kills Thanaton and is given his seat on the Dark Council).
I don't even think this is hyperbole or something to dismiss given how casually Marr says it to Nox. It didn't come across as being arrogant or hyperbolic, rather it came across as a statement of fact. Nox shouldn't expect to be able to just waltz through the Dark Council members en route to gaining more and more power and authority. Bottom line being all of the remaining DC members are at worst = end of Act III Nox.
@nfactor1995: That's referring to them collectively, though. He's saying that if Nox wants to surpass them or the Emperor, the entirety of the Dark Council can put an end to that, which I'd hope would be the case - otherwise the Dark Council would be most unimpressive.
@shootingnova: Eh I kind of see it as an individual statement. I guess it depends on how you want to look at it
Honestly, I think these two are both extremely underrated at times.
I would think Traya would beat even prime Satele, though in a great fight. TK and telepathy seem to be slightly in her favor (IIRC, Satele TP'd the Outlander, though I'm not sure how that compares), and I doubt Satele has, if any, enough of a skill edge to beat Traya. If Satele does outclass Traya in an area, I'd imagine Traya's drain could close the gap.
