Naruto and Neji stomp lol. Naruto actually blitzes Sasuke and Neji jams up Gaara.

Naruto already beat Gaara in the canon. And no, Naruto did not use the Kyuubi until the very end after he summoned Bunta. Base Naruto beat One tailed Gaara.

As it stands, Base Naruto> Base Gaara> Neji> Sasuke.

Team 2 takes this comfortably. Hell, Bunta easily solos if Naruto summons.

Gaara and Sasuke stomp. Sasuke is much faster than both Naruto and Neji. He backed out of the fight against Gaara because of the curse mark. Naruto doesn't have what it takes to push him that far. Neji also can't counter Gaara's sand all that well with his rotation. He isn't fast enough and lacks anyway to damage Gaara.

Naruto only stood a chance against Gaara because he was batshit crazy. Gaara as a child could've killed Chunin exams Naruto. A calm Gaara (the one who fought Lee) would've destroyed Naruto a million times over. Gaara got worked up when he saw he was gonna fight Sasuke then started to let the one tail out. That is the only reason he lost.

Naruto stomped a vastly superior version of Gaara that Sasuke had to use CS2 chidori to react to, Gentle fist is perfect for Chakra constructs. By scaling Neji fought a superior version of Naruto that just beat that version of Gaara.....Sasuke is surprisingly a weak link here.

Naruto vs Gaara: I'm going with Naruto. He already beat on a stronger version of Gaara.

Neji vs Sasuke: I'd give the nod to Neji more times then not. During the prelims Kakashi thought that Sasuke had no chance against Neji and since then Sasuke only really worked on his speed and Taijutsu and got Chidori since then. Speed wise he was as fast as Rock Lee without the weights but he can't constantly use it for to long as pointed out by Lee and as we know Lee didn't think he could beat Neji until he used the gates and the DB1 goes up until the end of the Chunin exam arc upon which Neji had a 3.5 in Taijutsu while Sasuke had a 2.5. And on top of that as we saw Neji can use Kaiten at the last second to stop any of Sasuke's taijutsu attacks and send him flying and what not so with Neji being better in Taijutsu chances are he's gonna be the one winning most of the Taijutsu exchanges and as we know a few strikes might end the match.

So basically all Sasuke can do to win is land Chidori for a win really but with Sasuke only being able to use two Chidori and Neji having Kaiten to stop Sasuke from getting close, I'm not to sure he's likely to land one.

@b_r023: He meant summoning help. This is literally the duos facing each other with the same rules applied in the chunin exams, specifically in this final fight that we see up above. So summoning a giant frog isn't allowed... Them bringing out their tailed beasts isnt allowed, but they are welcome to ofc become 1 tail you know because at this point I think that's about as far as they got and so on.

I would wonder if Gentle Fist would work through Gaara's armor. That said, I have Sasuke over Naruto, although I feel like Neji beats Sasuke. Garra should hard counter Naruto the same way he countered weighted Lee, might even be the same for Neji tbh. Rotation will only get him so far

Naruto was able to react to Partially Transformed Gaara and even outmaneuver him using his clones. This same Gaara was so fast that Sasuke essentially said that he would've been blitzed and killed if it wasn't for his Sharingan.

@ourmanuel: CM2 Sasuke got his shit rocked by a gaara Naruto beat in base form. Naruto would whoop Sasuke's ass. Lmao Neji would probably be fast enough to get around Gaara's sand.

Whether Sasuke used to beat Naruto in the past is irrelevant, by this point Sasuke couldn't beat Naruto. Naruto himself may not be a speedster but his shadow clones, diversions and strength outweigh whatever Sasuke can dish at him.

Naruto also got "tagged" multiple times by the same Gaara. He used his shadow clones as distractions/shields so he could land that attack, something that sasuke can't do, because Sasuke never showed that he could perform that Shadow Clone jutsu

Not to say base Naruto is a little stronger than CM2 Sasuke, just that he's a lot stronger than CM2 Sasuke.

Naruto already beat Gaara thanks to Kurama and Gamabunta. With Kurama even CS1 Sasuke won't amount to much. As he wasn't even able to do much to Gaara. Neji at this point isn't beating Sasuke or holding out long enough for Naruto to defeat Gaara. But Naruto with Kurama is too OP. He'll get bodied in base but once he whips out Gamabunta and starts using Kurama's Chakra. Gaara and Sasuke are finished.

A motivated naruto can summon 2000 clones and neither gaara nor sasuke can do anything about it at this point so he can arguably solo with it with neji attacking when they are open

I'm tired of this mythology! Sasuke was not as fast as Rock Lee without weights during Part 2 of the Chunin Exams. A Rock Lee who had just left the hospital after his arm and leg were crushed by Gaara's sand was able to hold his own against Kimimaro while Sasuke was getting fodderize by the Sound Four who were easily able to react to his speed and one-shotted him when he tried to use his curse mark. Just because a character claimed that his speed was on par with Rock Lee doesn't counteract Sasuke's actual speed feats which show that he isn't as fast as Rock Lee. Hell, when Sasuke was fighting Temari she had no problem keep track of him despite his increase in speed while the Sand Siblings had trouble seeing Rock Lee in his fight with Gaara.

Naruto holds off Gaara with his Shadow Clones while Neji quickly finishes off Sasuke who has no answer to Rotation or Gentle Fist Taijutsu, then they both double team Gaara.

Sasuke Rescue Arc is pretty strange with powerlevels. How was a rusty Lee doing better against Kimi than a version of the Naruto that stomped Sasuke?

As said by Guy and showed by flashbacks (also stated by Lee himself) Lee wasn't able to defeat Neji without the Gates.

If it requires for Lee to use an untouchable high-speed combo in the 4th & 5th gate to defeat Neji, then Chunin Exams Sasuke has zero chance at defeating him with base Lee's speed and taijutsu level. All of his attempts get easily parried.

And Naruto already beat on a stronger version of Gaara.

@kigrethevikingChunin exam Naruto wouldn't beat base Gaara. He has nothing that is coming close to breaking sand armor (which Gaara wasn't using when Naruto beat him in the manga). Neji couldn't beat him either since his fighting style is defensive. He'd get overwhelmed by the sand. If Sasuke touches either of them with chidori they actually die. Probably couldn't go in on Neji but an in-character KN0 Naruto loses regardless of a small speed advantage
