1. Meruem, he had some nice busting feats pre-rose, post-rose just buffs him up with RG powers.

2. I can see it go in any direction, depends on wether or not will the bloodlusted Meruem shapeshift. If he doesn't Sanji's speed will overwhelm him.

Both meruem... come on now.. stomp..

Meruem moves faster (for longer and smarter)and is just a superior creature in general. Even post sanji versus pre meruem would go in meruems favor.

@infurius@westwood7: it took a min nuke and radioactivity to take out meruem and even then he was partially alive. He took thousands of hits in a matter of seconds each capable of shattering stone and overpowering him briefly and bounced back each time with no damage and a different tactic each time.

Sanji is mhs but still ive never seen anything close to that level of relentless attack from him or anyone for that matter in one piece. Sanjis outclassed. I dont wanna push it really.

Interesting fight yes. But the outcome is leaning heavily in one direction.

@leo-343: In OP it's stated that Meruem is bloodlusted, we never saw him bloodlusted, therefor any statement regarding a power boost is pure speculation.

We know for a fact that bloodlusted Sanji gets ridicolous but same can't be said for Meruem as we don't know to what extent he would go since morals are on. That's why i believe this fight is situational. PTS Sanji has feats while bloodlusted whereas Meruem doesn't.

He has some powers that would give him an edge over Sanji, but there is no telling that he will use them.

Luffy dodging an explosion at point blank range ( Hypersonic feat ) and he was in base mode ( G2 multiplies his speed, same for G4 so he is around Mach 500 at the very least, calced to Mach 600 so legit ) He blitzed Doflamingo in G4 mode, could react to Overheat ( MHS attack that travels km in few instants )

Base Luffy is at least Hypersonic, same goes for Sanji ( without DJ ), and they have MHS reactions, Sanji DJ mode is MHS

The most hits i seen anyone take in one piece. Is white beard. And that was in hundreds. And the power of them attcks ranged from "u shouldnt be alive! To eh... its just a bullet. And other than the magma to the face. Meruem woulda taken all that easy. As i said. Meruem different durability level.

And i like how general ur being with no names to prove it? Anyone less than sanji? I choose Pikachu than. Pikachu. Take a 1000 tackles from a caterpie lets start there!

How? In an SBS, Oda stated that Sanji's kicking power is 21 Bats (the power to break 21 wooden bats in one kick)

TBH I think Meruem is overrated because he's from manga and his series is very good. If a live action character performed the same feats as him they wouldn't get half the credit on the vine.

And tbh I doubt pre Rose Meruem would beat pre skip Sanji either. There are a number of pre skip strength and striking feats that eclipse any physical showing in HxH and just having a technique like DJ should put Sanji at at least hypersonic levels of speed. Not to mention pre Rose Meruem is entirely blunt force which is a bad idea against a OP character.

Round 1: Meruem, easy. Pre time skip Sanji haven’t that many impressive feats, I’d put him only city block level to multi city block level at best. Even pre rose Meruem was much stronger than Pitou whose shown Hypersonic+ feats and Small town level power

Riund 2: Sanji, mid diff or maybe even low diff. Can’t say much here, Sanji at this point is probably City to Mountain level and he should be able to take down Meruem quite handily, Meruem died from a City level nuke. He might be more durable but Sanji is just hilariously faster and stronger
