Sandman vs Gaara

Fight takes place on a planet that is entirely a desert.

The Spider-Man villain? Gaara stomps.

Sandman. Gaara can control sand, not destroy it and this is a planet full of sand. Once Gaara runs out of chakra Sandman will beat Gaara as Gaara won't be able to hold Sandman at bay anymore.

Remember Gaara doesn't even have a Biju anymore.

Sandman is living sand so i don't see how gaara can possibly harm him without water. Tho i don't really see Sandman being able to hurt gaara either.

Gaara has limited chakra, he will eventually run out and after that Sandman will destroy him. Gaara has no way to deal with Sandman in a lasting way.

Gaara wins via Magnet release then seals him. Its how his dad Rasa did it, and that's how Gaara's going to do it. And the finite energy argument is moot since Gaara can fight for three days straight, and his dad compares his attacks Shukaku his dad should know since everytime Shukaku goes wild Rasa would fight him then seal him. And most of his best feats were without Shukaku anyways.

Gaara doesn't have magnet release and even if he did it's not going to matter. It makes me sad that people aren't getting the concept of you can't destroy sand with sand...

@diydeath: Except he does have magnet release and he has sealing. If you can beat fire with fire, water with water, then yes you can beat sand with sand.

Sealing isn't going to matter when Gaara runs of of chakra for the seal. Because Sandman will get out and win at that point.

I'll need proof of Gaara using Magnet release. Remember that anime is not considered canon if it shows things the manga has not. Same applies for most movies.

Ahhh I see, it's in Gaara Hiden: A Sandstorm Mirage which is a recent publishing. I'll cede you that point. Not that it's going to help Gaara in any way. Gaara has no way of destroying sand and has a finite amount of chakra. Those are facts and are not up for debate.

Sealing does not require too much chakra since he pretty much spams the stuff and not all seals require constant chakra output example Orochimaru's five finger seal.

He used magnet release in the canon light novel Gaara HIden: A sandstorm mirage. Here is a quote

"But, Gaara’s sand shield deflected every single one of those javelins. It was because this time, Gaara had used the magnet release he had inherited from his father. His shield had faint, sparkling bits of metal compromised in it, that had let it deflected the javelin.

Gaara had known the secrets of his sand shield technique had been exposed. One of his countermeasures to make up for that weakness, was this: his father’s technique. He hadn’t used it at all until now, but when he did, he used his father’s magnet release along with the sand his mother had given him to make his current shield."

Here are the novel timeline made by shonen jump and the novels are a part of the Naruto New Era Project which is all canon material ignoring the live-action stuff. Of which the Last and Boruto Movie are part of and both are canon.

I'm not so sure that Garra could seal Sandman. Remember that Sandman's consciousness resides within a single core grain of sand within an innumerable amount of sand. And since Flint doesn't have chakra Garra can't possibly hope to discover it.

Both parties throw sand at each other until Garra runs out of chakra.

Also, I thought battle rules allowed for chi, chakra, Kai, the force, etc to be compatible if it is common in a characters universe.
