How good would our DARPA-Agent from Vanquish fare against a giant mechanical menace?

R1 Sam has no weapons

R2 Sam gets his BLADE-System and it can turn into all weapons from Vanquish

His suit is unrestricted for both rounds, the Metal Gear RAY is the version out of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance

Victory is through annihilation, the fighters start with 200 feet distance on the opposing side of this place, no civilians

Not an expert on Sam, but Ray is a force to be reckoned with.

The problem is that Ray doesn't have that many weakpoints but from I have seen Sam could possibly stop Ray's arm just like he stopped the Argus Core's leg and drilled through that armor which is probably as durable. For one the armor is practically impervious to bullets and missiles. Ray and Argus core are very similar that for one Argus Core also has a laser and a huge arsenal of missiles so in a way Ray isn't that new to Sam. The thing about Ray though is that it is much faster than the Argus Core. Even so Sam seems to be capable of dodging even Ray's attacks and if he can get some punches too that would be a problem for Ray.

@red_ruby_petal: Thanks for the response. I thought it would be interesting, since Sam is physically a bit weaker, but also incredibly mobile and versatile with his weapons

He can't put down Ray. Ray is a lot stronger, faster and more durable than the Argus Cores.
