@lvenger: feats for cap? All I hear is he stalemated superman, need some legit striking feats for cap?

Cap is faster, more durable, smarter, can fly, stronger (asides from striking which is debateable), has many other powers OPM doesn't and overall more powerful than OPM.

I'm sure Cap has feats that don't need to be a power scaling issue with Black Adam and Superman. But...we need to see them? Can somebody post?

He helped a few other powerhouses move an enlarged moon in JLA/Titans.

But yeah, most of individual feats are in speed rather than strength.

@mowjack: I guess I can list some of his feats. He's gone toe to toe with Martian Manhunter, Black Adam and an Eclipso possessed Superman though he doesn't have the same kind of striking feats that Saitama does. His speed feats are mostly bullrushing ones and not moving/reacting/perceiving things at clearly hypersonic-relativistic speeds like Saitama. He can also call down lightning which can hurt Superman but it turns him back to Billy Batson unless he says Shazam again.

Not that I know of. I'm guessing it'll be like Wonder Woman, where he does have solid feats, but they're far below the level he's logically able to perform at.

@lukehero: He has a few pre Flashpoint one shot series and in it he shows better feats than in the main pre Flashpoint universe. He still has good feats though.

He actually does have a reaction/perceiving feat. In this scan he perceivs information at lightspeed.

As for the lightning part it was true only for Pre-Day of Vengeace Captain Marvel, post-DoV Cap doesn't have that same weakness, because the rules of magic had changed.

Here he summons magic lightning without using magical word(as stated in Trials of Shazam they only need to think about it to summon power), which instead of transforming him heals and re-energizes him.

As for the power of his lightning, he had a full on fight with BA(pre-DoV), where they used lightning amped strikes, BA throwed lightning at Cap, and later they both summoned mystical lightnings to hurt each other, which gave some good damage to both of them, though they possess vast invulnerability towards magic attacks.

Note: The fight ends with Cap getting mind controlled and then transforming back.

During War of the Gods, when Cap summoned his lightning it was stated the skies of Olympus went insane and that he will tear Olympus apart.

He also has some insane speed feats, he traveled to the 5th dimension(time is 4th), time traveled via speed(though it was Billy's dad who had Cap's powers at that time), and everytime he flies to the Rock of Eternity, he needs to fly so fast that he flies beyond time and space, basically entering the RoE via speed is Cap's version of Flash's SpeedForce barrier.

The only striking feats that Captain Marvel has as far as I'm aware of is damaging Superman a couple of times.

He busted Superman's nose in Superman/Batman #4 (NOTE: in that same issue Superman tanked a planetary level strike for Hawkman with no visible damage done to him)

And he gave Eclipso-Supman a bloody nose with a headbutt, which it also seemed to have stunned Eclipso-Supes for a little bit.

Did saitama get a major boost or something?

I know Cap isn't really on Clark or BA's level but still his Speed should be superior to Saitama and he should be able to take a few of his non serious punches and avoid a serious one.

Cap, Satiama is overrated.

Pre flashpoint Cap still has a feat problem?

Compared to other high tier powerhouses I would say he does have a feat problem. But he has fought someone who's also pulled off a continental feat like Saitama's, Black Adam, and he's considered a peer to Superman rightfully or wrongly. So he's in with a chance despite his lack of feats.

Wondy has far more and better feats than Shazam, but if you mean that both have a good amount of Supes comparisons and statements without all his feats is that partly true.

Batson scales somewhere around Black Adam and Superman...without even listing feats, that is enough to beat Saitama.

I love how Orion is considered Superman's better because they stalemated one time yet Cap is considered laughably inferior to Superman because he lacks solo quantifiable feats.
