The Saint is highly overrated. He failed to kill a vampire that was beaten by a human.
That doesn't count. There was an interview with Garth Ennis where they asked him how Cassidy survived getting shot by the Saint, and he admitted it was a glitch since he was still working out the SOK character.
Touche, but he's still overrated. Some people act as if he's more powerful than omnipotence. Also, it's been said by many people that the guns are merely different manifestations of his power - it was originally a sword.
He punched Jesse Custer and didn't kill him. And he was vulnerable to the Word.
I'm not saying he isn't powerful, but I like to put him in his place as often as I can.
Preacherverse "God." Seifer killed FFVIII's version of Odin, does that mean he'd do the same to Marvel's version?

right the preacherverse
Other Michael stomps. Or it's a stalemate.
Reason why I say it's a stalemate..if he kills Micheal all that Demiurgic power built up in Michael will realese destryoing SOK in the process. Seen SOK survive a nuke, but can he survive a multiversal explosion to the face?

Michael could just seal up the Preacherverse, no problem.
Saint of Killers gets my vote mainly due to his quickdraw and his guns were made out of the sword of the angel of death which don't jam, don't miss nor need reloading. He has two so essentially he can machinegun with his revolvers

None of them can kill or even hurt Michael.
Isn't the God in Saint of Killers' universe far less impressive than the Christian God in many other portrayals? I know SoK's God was not omnipotent when SoK put him down. He's got to be on his throne to have his full power or something but I forget if his full power makes him omnipotent.
I believe Michael wins this one.
@Killemall Why not? Angel of Death's weapon made into another weapon to shoot another angel. Seems plausible
@CitizenBane What do you mean no? Just plain old no and that's it? Really? No explanation just no

If you'll bother going through the entirety of this thread, you'll find your explanation.
@batkevin74: that was trail of thinking that a weapon to kill angels ie lucifer could perhaps kill MD,but im not sure how the different comics transend in to the power ratings of different angels,i must say luicfer in the preacher doesnt seem as powerful as LM,but we only saw a brief part of him.

Well the problem is Michael is Lucifer's equal and by her own admission she has cannot touch Lucifer (so the same should apply for Michael and GEB). Also in lucifer's series its was stated that apart from weapon forged by the presence nth can kill the devil (Lucifer) even when he was on earth as a mortal that sort of rules out him dying doesnt it?
@CitizenBane Scrolled back, had a look. Did bother. Was maybe hoping for something more than just no...
Anyways @Spartan101@Killemall Well let's say The Saint of Killer's weapon CAN hurt Michael. If he fires off enough shots to kill him then Michael will explode taking creation with it. But since this takes place in Heaven which is outside of creation I think the Saint has it. In his universe he killed his devil and his god and is on the throne as god. Michael is able to die, in none of the Preacherverse is the Saint EVER hurt. After the nuclear bomb he's got a slightly titled hat. So Michael explodes, SOK dusts off his hat and sits back on the throne
Victory Saint of Killers!
Yes? No? Maybe?
