KS=soul manipulation and sense manipulation, you cant break out of it
Genjutsu=sense manipulation, you can break it with your zanpakuto spirit or via distribution of your inner energy. Also, Shinigami have a reiatsu field around them, so Genjutsu is unlikely to even work
