Kid Toshiro is more than enough, he has Ice abilities, one way to counter logia fruit is to hit them with counter elements. Lightning < Rubber, Fire<Water/Ice, etc and 2nd reitsu/spiritual energy is a soul base energy so once sabo is hit while his body would probably be fine his soul would not.

What? You can't use the Luffy vs. Enel example to justify your reasoning since Luffy COMPLETELY nullified Enel's devil fruit while Ice doesn't nullify fire

Ace and Aokiji stalemated so I don't see what Toshiros Ice is going to do not that it matters since you are only factoring in their powers we have to talk about speed,physicals,endurance etc which Sabo clearly outclasses Toshiro in

Either way, can’t Toshiro just survive long enough to use his adult form. After the Aizen time skip, all the SS caps and lieutenants did some training to improve their stats. Even toshiro’s normal bankai showed the ability to freeze what it cut, though I’m not sure how this would work gains sabo’s fire intang.
Toshiro doesnt have to wait, he can attack whenever. Souls in Bleach are invisible and intangible to normal human (but in battles we assume the character fighting them can see and touch them). In my previous reply to Skysanji i posted Ichigo touching spirit ribbons, which normal people have never seen or bumped into, even though they're everywhere.
@ourmanuel: Well pre-time skip Luffy without any gears kicked a Lighting bolt then later he gets Gear second, and he pretty much scales from there I can't give you a mach.
@grappolo: he’s more than likely stronger than Ace given he was second in command of the revolutionaries without a devil fruit and had a higher bounty than him( I know that doesn’t mean much) Sabo has also shown to have really good armament haki whilst Ace never showed his though he has been confirmed to have strong haki from his novels.

Toshiro was getting wrecked by Bazz-B, who Sabo would stomp. Toshiro would need to go Adult form in order to win.
That's such a bad comparison lmao, Bazz-B was literally Toshiro's kryptonite, and Bazz-B would stomp Sabo considering he could defend against Yama's flames whom Sabo doesn't even compare to.
