Location: RWBY Arena Nature/Rocky mountains

• Starting distance is 30 ft apart from eachother
• Environment is accessible
• Area is empty of any civilians or grim

You think he'd easily eat Sun?

@watcher5000: Yes. Suns best feat is briefly forcing back Roman with the advantage of getting a free hit off the bat cause Roman had just defeated Blake.

Ren on the other hand matched Cardin blitzing+ Ruby's performance against Tyrian.

There would be an exchange but it would be very one sided and wouldn't last long.

So yeah Ren wins IMO

Ren is more impressive imo. The potential is there for Sun, but he doesn't have as many good showings, and his best feat is holding his own against Roman.

this is by no means a stomp. Holding off Roman is a feat Ren would have trouble at too.

Not sure how Ren answers to the Gun-Chucks.

He had short exchanges with Tyrian who has a much more precision based weapon and was still struggling with them. Sun's pew-pew's will be a much more difficult weapon to counter, especially with it's unorthodox style. His strikes in V1 were just as fast as Tyrian's were in V4. Tyrian's just much more skilled and much faster in combat speed.

If Ren has demonstrated anything to show he won't get overwhelmed by ^ this but if he does then he definitely has a claim of taking Sun down.

@chronicplane: I think this is a fight that can go either way. I don't think Ren's showings are much better against established opponents. I might lean slightly towards Ren because he did do well against Tyrian. That said Sun has a more useful semblance so that could possibly help.

Though I doubt it will change anything as the Brothers if the last episode is any indication are....... really crap.

Ren takes because of how he did against Tyrian. This answer may change with the release of the next chapter.

My opinion hasn't changed. Yes Sun kicked Illia's ass. But Illia's only feat is kicking Blake's ass. Which isn't that high of a bar.

And he's already shown he can push back people who can kick Blake's ass in Torchwick

@chronicplane: Sun didn't demonstrate anything in the new episode, but I'm watching from YouTube, so maybe I'm missing something. :v
