Welcome to the Record of Ragnarok Tournament!

This is @seagod's original idea, I'm simply reviving it and hosting

Humans Versus Gods in the ultimate fight to decide the top of the food chain. Only one side can remain in the ultimate battle of mortal and divine. Choose your side and get ready for the ultimate tournament under the Cosmos.

Character Building:

Pick your side Humans or Gods and then pick a god or a historical figure to base your build around. 8vs8

The builds must be based off their historical/mythological inspirations.

Guidelines:

• Body (your body will only have the character's stats, not their skills or special powers)
• Skillset (martial arts, marksmenship, swordsmenship, etc...)
• Special Gear (Batman's Utility Belt, Armors, Weapons, Accessories, etc...)
• Power (magic, ki, superpowers, etc...)

Limits:

• Multi-continental Level Strength and DC
• Lightspeed movement and reaction speed
• Durability Multi-continental+

Banned and restricted powers:

• No Instant Death abilities
• No unavoidable attacks
• No offensive telepathy
• No telefrag
• BFR only lasts for 10 seconds
• No attacking while Intangible
• Clones limited to 3 at a time
• No summons
• No Soul attacks
• No power stealing/copying/Negating however skill copying is allowed
• No Reality warping
• No probability Manipulation
• Regen can not bring you back from total body destruction
• Time Manipulation only on self (cannot be used to make your character faster than the speed limit)
• Matter Manipulation can not be used on gear or opponents
• Gear follows the rules of powers and body

So you have to select characters from different media that all combine to make your character. If can be any character from any media as long as they fit within the rules

@smxlr8: because a great deal many wanted it revived but I didn't want to host it again as the bug killed my drive to host. So I said anybody who wanted could host is and she decided to.

@valhallavolund: I believe Benimaru Shinmon is solidly FTL in speed

@mass: In terms of body character, or have I been doing this wrong?

No that Solomon build looks good, its just that Benimaru's body is over the limits. The body that you choose is limited to Multi-continental DC/Durability and Light Speed for speed. Benimaru is FTL so he is too fast

@mass: What I meant is I'm using his body for Solomon(only the body, not anything else).

But then I guess Yami Sukehiro could work.

I would advise not using an average human body, but it's technically within the limits so go off

Yeah so by using Benimaru's body you get his stats which would be his physical attack power, durability and speed, nothing else. His physical speed is FTL

I mean he is well within the limits but you have to remember the other people here are using Multi-Continental level characters. I single tap from any of them would kill Kokushibou a million times over

Anything that's not the modern Monster Verse really. It scales to a lot of Godzilla's feats which are over multi-continental

Character Build

• Body: Mark Grayson AKA Invincible(Image Comics)

• Gear: Mysterio Suit.(Marvel)

The idea of this build was to make a thief combined with a magician. Most thieves in fiction have been complete jack of all trades, sleight of hand here, sleight of hand there. Arsene Lupin, is a fictional thief who has had people wrapped around his finger due to the heists he has pulled. The thieves he has inspired in modern day media really speaks volumes of the impact he created. So to make use of the build I was going for I gave this character the skillset of Sly Cooper, a thief who's very concept is inspired by Arsene Lupin and the like, and Evangeline, who is genuinely a jack of all trades due to studying all kinds of magic. Mysterio's tech is the icing on top giving me ways to perform a heartstopping show while also lining my pockets with profit.
