Who wins ?
@thebeyonder1: regulator thanos absorbed living tribunal and TOAA
@khorne TOAA is not omnipotent, which is the only thing why he was impressive and the rest of marvel was impressive. Now they are straight up fodder, basically controlling a multiverse that is made up of physics, so absorbing them isn't really impressive, especially not impressive to Dream.
@logicdebating: stfu who asked you
@cosmic_reign: he is above TOAA
@khorne: He absorbed TOAA? When did this happen? And is that canon?
@mejames255: TOAA is no longer omnipotent
Okay seriously, what have Dream or any of the Endless done for them to be held in such a high regard combat wise? Pretty sure all of them, save for Death, can't even survive the destruction of the universe. Nothing to suggest he won't get wrecked here.
@albion21: That's assuming Starlin's opinion takes precedence over several other writers who use TOAA as a stand in for themselves.
Dream
can't even survive the destruction of the universe. Nothing to suggest he won't get wrecked here.
where did you get that idea?
Daniel and Morpheus has both created multiverse before
@bigbradwolf: where did you get that idea?
From Sandman #48
And it looks like Daniel used that egg to start creation. Either way, just because they might be able to create their own realities under the right conditions, doesn't really mean they can outlive theirs.
Also even Franklin Richards and Nightmare have feats like this.
@brucerogers: franklin mentioned he created multiverse in hotmu via statement (and that's in the very distance future), not actually showing him doing it. he's also said to be capped at universal many times (most recently mentioned in house of x I think)
he has shown to create thousands of universes after secret wars with mm's help. so yeah I can technically he does have feats similar
nightmare created a multiverse before? that sounds....extremely outlierish.....consider the low showings he had over the years....but I'll take your words for it.
either way, Endless simply don't have the low showings marvel cosmic/abstracts have, which is why I give him the win, you obviously disagree, I dont have interest to discuss it further though
@bigbradwolf: No, I meant Nightmare has a universe creation feat. He created a big bang or some such. Isn't Morpheus creating a universe in your second set of scans?
Franklin spoke about creating multiverses like it's something he has done in the past. I don't think he was amped -- it wasn't stated.
I mean sure, I agree. The Sandman is one of the best and most consistently written comics while Marvel comics tend to suffer from writers who don't know what they are doing. Not everyone can be Al Ewing or Jim Shooter. To that end, expect some jobbing for the sake of plot. That said, consistent feats matter.
But sure, let's agree to disagree.

right, the was adult franklin (history of marvel universe) at the end of time speaking about what he's done, it's in the distant future compared to 2020. he's gone much more powerful as he grew older, and yes he has created multiverses eventually
regarding nightmare, universe creation feat is....much much below endless level.... many people have done it. captain atom has made a univerese in quantum realm, hal has rebooted the entire universe just recently (and I don't mean as parallax and monarch, but their regular versions)
