@shauryaistheone: by the same logic you could say a lot of Hulks feats are outliners. How many times did he replicate the same feats? How many times did his power vary.
Rebirth superman runs a Post crisis high tier gauntlet
Probably stops at Wally that or he destroys the planet. If Superman is flying or off the ground I find difficulty in seeing Wally easily winning.
Again bringing up Hulk in a thread that has nothing to do with him... A lot of Hulks feats are outliers that's why no one brings them up seriously like Grey Hulk busting meteors twice the size of Earth and crap... And by design Hulks powers vary, it's the integral part of the character to fluctuate in power based on his emotions, i am sorry Superman and some others don't have this excuse.
I am sorry some people don't understand the very fundamentals of Hulks character and i am sorry you guys can't talk about Superman without dragging other characters down. Sorry, not sorry.
Still probably stops at Lobo.
@poltragyst: Eclipso having a weakness to sunlight and Eclipso allegedly weakening those he possesses due to them having a solar powered nature are two separate concepts. If Martian Manhunter mindcontrolled Fire would her powerlevel drop because he's weak to flame?
Eclipso has canonically shown several times that he has the ability to amp others.
- Starman (Will Peyton)
- a regular human who was getting beat up by Vril Dox then went on to tank a blast from Lady Quark
- a regular human who went on to no-sell bullets and tear brick apart casually with his bare hands
- The Creeper
- Lois Lane
- Lobo
If Superman was always capable of what he did when he was Eclipsed, why did he get beat up against Lobo when the Eradicator made him willing to kill? Wouldn't it be logical to use that superspeed to, I don't know, prevent being blitzed? Why didn't he drop Lobo when he was high on Kryptonite-X? Or any other instance?
Even assuming Superman was always capable kindly explain how Eclipso-Superman's heatvision did damage to Lobo when previously all it did was offend him and get shrugged off please? I'll wait.
@averageusersalt: aren't outliers the feats which are doubtful or the feats which are inconsistent ?
@averageusersalt: yups but people here are calling it outlier for some reason
It's not. Superman destroyed a earth sized hole in Brainiac's mothership with his heat vision, as well as physically pushing the ship which was the size of a gas giant. If Superman wanted to destroy a planet, he could easily do so
@tifalockhart: Eclipso never amped Starman or Valor (Who was already stated to be the most powerful being on the planet, even more powerful than Superman) and yet Superman defeated him.
You're throwing red herrings as if Eclipso is just mind controlling the characters. Even Captain Marvel said Superman only fought more savagely and he was never stated to be stronger than usual in Eclipso crossover.
And the reason Lobo beat up Superman was due to his ability to detect weaknesses as stated in the letters page (Eradicator made Superman a true kryptonian who couldn't fight for his life). The same writer (Dan Jurgens) had Superman effortlessly overpower Mon El and Lobo together in Adventures of Superman annual 2.
You're confusing regular Superman who keeps his heat vision in control vs Superman who goes for offensive like Eclipso. It happened, get over it.
@xlr87t3: agreed
Clears
Lol.
@poltragyst: Way to dodge.
@tifalockhart: Way to concede.
@blackpantherisb: where should i put him ?
@supermanthor: Above Hal.
@poltragyst: Your mind is made up, I take it.
