Rebirth Bane vs Daredevil

The Bane that legit beat Batman straight up, beat up and hang all three Robins, and decimated the Batman rogues gallery, including Grundy.

Rebirth Bane with venom should win. DD can sneak in a few wins though.

Beating Hood and Damien in any shape is pretty stupid high end for Bane as I think of him.

Also anyone explain how he hanged all three Robins but they simply are alive with Superman? How... what... is that ever explain?

@brucerogers and I were discussing this exact fight just last night.

Daredevil can win a few rounds due to his superb avoidance and tendency to use nerve strikes but otherwise, Bane hits much harder than anything Matt could reasonably shrug off. Bane for a 6-7/10 majority.

@elijah_c_washington: Lul true. Though I was talking about pre 52 Bane, whom Dardevil would beat for a majority.

Rebirth Bane is vastly more improved physically, as it seems.

@blackestnight93: He was capable of damaging concrete, brick and tearing apart steel doors, though the feat I'm mostly thinking of was breaking Batman's bones through his suit with like, every strike.

Barring feats against mid-tiers, I'd say he hits harder than Deathstroke by a decent margin.

@brucerogers: Yes, I suppose that's true. Also, while I haven't read every single appearance, Post-Flashpoint Bane has been a monster in general. If I remember correctly, he god-stomped Batman in their first encounter and shattered Red Hood's bulletproof helmet without venom.

@foxerdes: Hmm, I think I was referencing the 4th fight then. Bane also lost decisively to Bruce in a Batwoman comic but I figured it was more of an anti-feat for Bane than anything else.

The head butt was explained by the classic he left himself vulnerable for a moment (don't know why writers think that justifies any PIS).

Bane tags him eventually. Headbutting is not Daredevil's style unless I missed a fight/feat.

Daredevil didn't get touched in a match with Luke Cage inside a boxing ring. He's done some pretty silly things that don't quite make sense like beating Iron fist (shadowland) and going toe to toe with Spider-Man on numerous occasions.

If I was a betting man I'd say Bane but....

Well rebirth Bane is off venom but, he is really terrifying still. I'd say Bane takes a majority, at the end there Batman caught him off guard with a lucky headbutt that he barely managed to end the fight with, but not only did Bane almost kill Batman, but up until that headbutt it seemed like every shot he took he almost didn't feel. Not to mention the slaughter of the poor Batman rogues that led to him. Bane has always been a force to be reckoned with but it seems like they're really ramping him up lately. I say Bane could take most street leveler in Marvel or DC, Daredevil being one of them.

N52/Rebirth Bane is too inconsistent for me to judge. Sometimes immensely impressive, others barely competent. At his peak he'd probably win the majority, but Daredevil has a wealth of feats to support building a case for him.

In I am Suicide Bane was basically a joke because a surprise attack by Catwoman managed to end up with him having a broken back. Right after that in I am Bane, on venom, he managed to completely destroy Batman's whole rogues gallery and after having at least some fatigue, he stomped Batman hard. However, even that battle ended with a humiliation for him - being knocked out by a mere headbutt.

He's way too inconsistent for me to give any opinion on this battle.

That's what I am saying, too inconsistent. Even when he is in his peak, he is at his low because of inconsistent writing.

People kind overestimating the grundy Feat. grundy is the defenition of inconsistent even by comic standard.

grundy has been fodder in rebirth , lol .Dude got wrecked in 2 moves by batman and now defeated by bane.

@logicuser: Rebirth Bane stomps, he wrecked Damocles recently in Bane Conquest too, just a demonstration that skill isnt stopping Bane and neither will severing his tubes.

Dont mix New 52 inconsistency with Rebirth folks.

Rebirth Grundy destroyed Jason Todd and Artemis solo and had a battle with Bizarro.
