Comes down to the faster opponent so Apocalypse. He can sink you at the speed of thought along with everything around you whereas Thanos has to clench his fist and concentrate on you. Not only that the reality stone didn't display anything permanently. Once he left nowhere Drax and Mantis returned to normal which leads me to believe the stone is only as powerful as the users imagination and focus and Thanos won't have much of that while 6 feet underground.

Reality stone doesn’t create illusions it changes everything to what thanos wants.

Thanos doesn’t kill anyone before the snap that’s why he would let mantis and Drax live he has no reason to kill them they are insects

@miekskywalker: I know that it changes things but it never displayed any permanent effects. The stones grow more powerful when near each other but the reality stone alone when used by Thanos and Malekith never did any type of impressive reality warping.

@miekskywalker: He killed Loki, the Asgardians, and his daughter all before the snap. And presumably half the Nova Corps.

@krystalak: The reality stone alone created a false reality on top of actual reality twice...one of those times involving a false version of himself and an entirely seperate, fully intelligent living being (Collector). He also altered Starlord's gun without any gauntlet motion at all, just a thought. That's not only impressive, it's outright broken. Apocalypse has literally no answer, he won't even be fighting the right Thanos.

Without full knowledge Apoc wouldn't know anything about the IG and how it works though, and generally doesn't open with his most one-shotty abilities on anyone but fodder. Thanos also has some nice tp resistance from Mantis, who has some good feats herself.

Imo, if any of the x men can last more than one shot, and they have, Thanos can too. The first move is Apoc's only chance to land a hit at all and he won't even know how important it is for him to do so.

I'm thinking its a stalemate. Not sure if Thanos or Poc have any edge over the other. Thanos's fight with strange makes me think that his reality warping counters reality warping and it goes both ways.
