Here's a list of heavy-hitters in Marvel's 616 Earth. The list is completely unorganized right now, so I want you to order the list from absolute strongest to the least. The guy at the top should be able to beat anyone below him one-on-one.
1. Captain Marvel
2. Captain Britain
3. Apocalypse
4. WWHulk
5. Sentry
6. Juggernaut
7. Wendigo
8. Magneto
9. Thor
10. Hercules
11. Nimrod
Okay, now rank this list from most powerful to least.
Rank them: Marvel Earth heroes only
can you specify if its at there peak power or not since thor , juggs and sentry would alter position quite drasticly
" Peak natural power for everyone, fighting at their damned hardest. "this could be tough then , since peak natural powers for sentry for example is gonna be a tough call on this list since age of sentry power vs sentry in wwhulk lol
do you mean strength only? cuz juggs is like no 1 in str but last in speed so he can still be beaten by some of these guys
" do you mean strength only? cuz juggs is like no 1 in str but last in speed so he can still be beaten by some of these guys "I said that the guy on top should be able to beat anyone below him in a fight. The same applies for each subsequent guy. We're going for overall power and might in a fight.
Wasn't Captain Britain at one point one of the top in the Marvel Universe or am I just pulling that out of nowhere?
Genis-Vell gone nuts (Cap Marvel)
Thor (Odin Force)
Monica (Cap Marvel)
Thor (Classic)
Mar-Vell (Cap Marvel)
Hercules (ancient Greek levels where he lifts the Earth)
Sentry (peak levels)
WWHulk
Juggernaut
Captain Britain
Nimrod
Apocalypse
Magneto
Wendigo
Hercules (normal levels)
Sentry (with mental issues)
" I'd order them this way (top to bottom) 1. Sentry2. Captain Marvel3. Juggernaut4. Thor5. Magneto6. Captain Britain7. WWHulk8. Apocalypse9. Nimroid10. Wendigo "If this is Genis-Vell, and according to your own rules (rank them according who could beat the other in a fight) he has already defeated Sentry. It was not the strongest version of Sentry, but it also wasn't the strongest version of Genis, either (he was Photon at the time).
" Hmm, I am referring to Genis-Vell but must have missed that. I assumed Sentry at full capacity could take him on, no? "If it is the insane version...I sincerely doubt it. I have yet to read his full series to judge for myself, but he was supposedly capable of destroying the Universe, at that point.

It doesn't always work like that in the superhero world. Sometimes person1 is able to beat person2, person 2 is able to beat person 3, and person 3 is able to beat person 1.
" @Power NeXus said:" It doesn't always work like that in the superhero world. Sometimes person1 is able to beat person2, person 2 is able to beat person 3, and person 3 is able to beat person 1. "Oh, ok. I guess that this entire battles forum is pointless then. "
Actually, that's exactly why it's not pointless.
"...Right, so why don't you not argue and order the characters in terms of why you think one is better than the next guy? Using the same logic you'd apply to any other million 1v1 topics here. "
Not all characters can be classified "One guy who beats everybody", "one guy who beats everybody except the guy above him", "one guy who beats everybody except the two guys above him". Superpowered individuals are just far too diverse to be classified as such. If they could be listed like that, don't you think the Mods on these boards would have come up with a list of all the Marvel heroes and villians, going from the guy who beats everybody down to the guy who beats nobody?
That's exactly why we have the Battles forum. We don't have an ordered list that let's us know who beats whom in every concievable fight. That's why we think of the battles ourselves, and then debate amongst each other who we believe would be victorious. Having some 'least to greatest' list would negate any need for debates.
