dunno how to rank based on who beats who because different people have different matchups against others. but my top 3 are jean, magneto and storm and no particular order

I was contemplating putting storm above apocalypse , but I don't know how she'd put him down , any ideas as to why storm should be above apocalypse

Jean really can't do anything much to Apocalypse TP wise while he can pretty much bash her shields in. She doesn't have the feats to go against certain types of bricks.

Xavier just has way better feats all around. At the end of the day he has on panel wins and feats against most of the council already including Jean.

How do you think xavier would deal with telekinesis

He wasn't trying to fight her and she didn't do any damage.

She'd never get a chance to use it.

I rank strength differently.

I don’t so much as put them against each other as I do put them in situations where they excel. Apocalypse excels in battle and technology, whereas Storm’s powers are a Swiss knife of uses.

Apocalypse has the physicals range to basically tank everything coming his way and heal whatever damage is dealt to him. That beings said, aside from his energy blasts, he doesn’t have much in the range department. Storm works best in a wide variety of ways through her manipulation of the weather. Put her on the same battlefield and she sweeps entire armies in a quicker amount of time with no prep.

The limitations play as much a factor as their strengths to. As stated before, Apocalypse has energy blasts, but he doesn’t do anything remarkable with said energy blasts. Nor is his telekinesis anything special. Storm’s weakness is her physicals, which are average for a woman who trains. Storm can relegate that with her tornadoes, flying at safe distances, and quick reaction timing, whereas Apocalypse tanks everything coming his way.

Overall, we can say Apocalypse can take down whole teams in the quickest succession, but Storm’s weather abilities can range from a small area to the entire planet based on her mood. That is how I ranked them.

@godlyshinigami: overall yh, both with and without her God amp. Feats of fighting heralds and that, I think mags is more balenced with his strong magnetic shields for defense tho. Maybe jean is slightly above storm, a toss up maybe.

@olorun: That's fair. I personally think mags is above both storm and Jean, but I could see Jean being above him , not storm though Lol.

@godlyshinigami: I do think mags is top 3, but in the past 20 years he's been more of a "drop magnetic shields and wait for anything to happen" no real solid feats, and Jean is on the up and up.

@olorun: That's true , in the current Hickman run , mags doesn't really have to many battle feats , while characters like Jean , have been getting new feats in X-force , Cable etc.

However Trial of Magneto is coming out soon and Mags might get some crazy feats. On the cover of one of the issues he's fighting the avengers , so who knows maybe Current Mags is back to his classic power level ?

@godlyshinigami: I mean we see him defeat a classic version of the avengers with Janet and vision, hardly anything to suggest he's on the levels of power of jean and storm imo.

@olorun: That was only the cover , I'm pretty sure he'll be stomping waaaaaaaaay more characters than that Lol. We'll simply have to wait and see. I also don't know what you mean by being on their level of power. He's already on their level of power Lol , any new feats he gets in trial of Magneto will simply cement that and possibly put him above them , but Like I said we'll just have to wait and see.

As of right now I can see Jean beating Mags (Although I'd still give the Majority of wins to Magneto), but Storm would definitely loose to him.

@godlyshinigami: im thinking, mags comes in, non-combative for the trial and maybe fights at the end(he could possibly make a few power statements at the start of the arc tho like " I could pull a portion of the moon down and kill you all" or whatever). Should be interesting.
