Immortal duo is being severely underrated here.

I mean cmon they are unbeatable team they only way they lost is becuase they got split up. if they didnt then.................we all kno who would win.

Anyone can solo them but Sasori. Deidara can lose only if he doesn't fly.

I say that Itachi and Kisame are interchangeable with Pain and Konan due to Itachi's hax and Kisame's ability. I feel that with Itachi having any information will lead to the win including Itachi's genjutsu

Yeah but without it she's the most useless member of Akatsuki, which even Hidan haters would likely agree.

Agreed that Konan with prep is dangerous but Orochimaru is the best with prep

In terms of who I like the most:

Itachi & Kisame

Pain & Konan

Obito & Zetsu

Sasori & Orochimaru

Sasori &Deidara

But sadly if I am being realistic:

(I think that Itachi and Kisame are both very close to Pain-level in power and Konan without prep is too weak to make the difference)

(Hidan is useless in anything above a Jonin-level fight, and only slightly better with prep. Kakuzu is often underestimated, but isn't exactly a powerhouse himself and definitely can't carry this team. There is a reason this was the first duo to be defeated and the only one with both team-mates losing in tedium.)

Deidara is seriously underrated. He's one of the top tier Akatsuki members. Itachi, Obito, and Pain are the only ones that could beat him.

Nagato would solo let alone Konan backing him with still lethal amounts of explosives against itatchi and Kisame. Also people are massively underrating Sasori and Deidara, they should be right under itatchi and Kisame as C4 oneshots anyone here.

Also we know prep is strong like shikamaru beat a large level fighter in hidan with prep with prep and full knowledge naruto could have a good fight with pain kabuto with prep caused a war so prep is strong and with out it konan is fodder as show when she fought jirayia

she didnt have prep when she fought shino's entire clan, and several others, if she attacked with the same jutsu she used during the assult on the hidden leaf most akatsuki members would die. plus jiraiya used a specific weakness.

she wouldn't die from most akatsuki attacks, shed just burst into pieces of paper like with obito, like she did when the aburame clan tried using insects to drain their chakra, in that form she can attack from every where at once and blitzing her would be useless nothing short of aoe attacks which potentially kill the opponent as well will work. she isn't fodder.
