1. Classic Rai VS Adamantium Wolverine, He plays with wolverine's emotions, hits him with repeated energy attacks. Possibly could even mess up Wolverine's healing factor by infecting him with nanites? I think he takes the majority 7/10
2. Current Rai VS Adamantium Wolverine(Not sure, leaning towards Wolverine 7/10)
3. Classic Rai VS Bone Claw Wolverine (Rai still wins) 7/10 I believe

Rai is the direct descendent of Bloodshot & has the Blood of Heroes; The Blood Of Heroes is a mixture of Bloodshot's blood along with other Valiant Comic Heroes. Rai has all of the base powers of Bloodshot, but lacks some of the more refined & natural control of the nanites.

With Bloodshot, the nanites think for themselves & it requires 0 concentration. As with Rai, because he has other powers besides Bloodshot's, he actually has to focus on which powers he wants to use.

Rai's Morals: All of the Rai's are honorable men, but are not afraid to kill when necessary & even willing to sacrifice themselves for the mission.

@lukehero: I'm not really familiar with Rai yet. When I say classic Rai I mean Rai pre valiant reboot, and when I say current Rai I mean Rai post valiant reboot. What are the different versions?

He's basically a more advanced version of Bloodshot, faster, stronger, etc...but he uses swords and other weapons more than guns.

@jashro44: I know what you mean, the universe rebooted and is in it's current form. There is a whole line of Classic Rai's none of them really lasted all that long. Honestly for amounts of showings, they would have to be composite, just to gather up enough material.

I'll allow composite feats for classic Rai than.

Current Rai is too early in to be a match for Wolverine. Haven't read classic yet.

@jashro44: @i_like_swords: Basically his creator Grandmother(Mystical Machine, Think Oracle in the Matrix), makes Rai as the champion of Japan, from The Blood of Heroes. A lot of the Rai's die in service to Japan, then Grandmother has to go and make another Rai.

Classic Rai can reduplicate all of the feats from Bloodshot as they share the same blood. I really didn't see Classic Rai utilize invisibility & shape-shifting though.

As I said, Bloodshot knows every form of Martial Arts, Sword-fighting techniques, and Military Strategy in the world due to his nanites downloading them to his brain.

Watch Bloodshot fight people on his same physical & skill level.

He even has a special Katana made for himself.

Combat Speed & Agility Feats:

Dodges a Laser after it's been fired.

By the way, that's not a Fodder Guy, It's one of Bloodshot's main enemies Laws(Valiant Comic's Deadshot).

I'd go with Logan more often than not. While I love Rai, and he is a bad@ss, Logan has consistently taken on threats similar to Rai and come out on top. I wouldn't say that he wins every time, but I'd say Logan takes it seven out of ten times.

@i_like_swords how about now?

@higorm: Logan's healing and adamantium win it for him more often than not. If they had equivalent healing and weapons I might side with Rai due to superior strength.

If bone claw, then Rai has a much better shot I think and could arguably take a majority.

@i_like_swords: so basically Rai would have trouble getting past the adamantium + healing combo? I thought he would be on pair with Logan healing wise considering the nanites features and overall feats.

Also, there isn't anything special about Rai gear?

@higorm: Rai actually doesn't have nanites in the reboot. He is cybernetic. His healing factor came from his connection to New Japan but on earth he has no healing factor.

He can form weapons with his mind e.g swords, whips, sickles etc which I suppose it's useful, but he mostly uses swords.

Rai could possibly stab Logan in the heart but the adamantium and healing are edges.

I agree with I like Swords. Adamantium Wolverine would take it most of the time. However Bone Claw is susceptible to being bisected. Especially from Classic Rai whose cutting power is insane and passes Modern's by quite a bit.

@i_like_swords: im on mobile so I can't post feats. But he's cut small space ships in half, large steel robots in two ( both with hands and sword) , destroyed a massive concrete walk way with sword ( although that would be more of a strength feat)and one shot a gaint metal gate with a single sword strike that not even magnus the robot fighter could scratch someone who regularly chops steel robots in two with his bare hands like tissue paper.iirc modern rai's best cutting feats are bisecting a human and car, unless I'm missing something.

@avaliantimge: Rai X is strong enough to take chunks out of X-O Manowar armor so I would argue he's much stronger based on the feats you mentioned.

@i_like_swords: But he didn't do it in one shot. He did it over a long period of time(I assume your talking about Energy Whip Rai). However I can see what you mean.

@avaliantimge: Yeah but just the outerskin needed a futuristic super drill just to damage it, Aboto taking off chunks is insane.
